27/11/2020 22:42 | And just to make a very obvious point - a certain poster has been quoting drilling costs at $70M a well. That was 2016 prices when rig rates were over $300k per day. In today's market I reckon you could drill 3 wells in the N Sea for $150m or even less. It is not only drilling rigs that are available at rock bottom prices but ALL associated service companies. And before everyone shouts at me please remember these are simple wells in relatively shallow water, anyone could drill them. Even me. | fat frank
27/11/2020 21:31 | "I'm not going to post again until the next update". I personally dont holdout like to post between 5 and 10 times per day. | leoneobull
27/11/2020 21:17 | Please tell me where I misled anyone, Ngms? Bonds due July 2021 instead of 2022? Oh, the hubris. Après moi, le deluge? | leoneobull
27/11/2020 20:41 | Ok, good luck writing the articles for motley | leoneobull
27/11/2020 20:22 | No I haven't. I made it clear it was $400k per day earlier on and sure oil at $50 makes 8k bopd break even | ngms27
27/11/2020 20:00 | Ngms. Good evening. Regarding commercial thresholds, you appear to have forgotten that Brent is presently 48 usd. If this holds and strengthens in 2021....then commercial could be achieved even with lower production. That has been obvious for a while | leoneobull
27/11/2020 18:20 | Frank - if they stick to the script, production figures are announced quarterly. No whispers here. | steelwatch
27/11/2020 18:01 | I dare say if we see another offload before then we can breathe a bit more easily!!! | fat frank
27/11/2020 18:01 | Thanks Steel; any whispers good or bad? | fat frank
27/11/2020 17:24 | Next production update due c. 8 Jan | steelwatch
27/11/2020 16:40 | ghhghh, I don't see them as relevant. Whats relevant currently is: 1) Can Well 6 produce above the commercial threshold? 2) How long can well 6 continue to produce above the commercial threshold with no intervention / capex? 3) Can investment prolong the production of HUR's assets above the commercial threshold, if so at what cost and for what duration? So personally if I were invested I wouldn't care one iota about your two questions. It's the same as Covid, why bother testing when all that matters is numbers entering hospital and numbers dying are the only important metrics. | ngms27
27/11/2020 16:02 | You have not answered my two questions because we don't know depletion rates from the sandstones nor the % contribution! What is the point of all your posts? Wait until we get the info | ghhghh
27/11/2020 14:31 | The thing that's also being missed is the effect produced water has on oil production. As an example using the latest two update's an additional 110 barrels of water production resulted in 500 less barrels of oil. Obviously this is a very crude measurement as its the total removal of fluids, affects on pressure etc so it's a complex equation, but this gives an idea. | ngms27
27/11/2020 14:12 | ngms But what % is coming from the sandstones? What difference does this make to depletion rates? None of us know. We need to wait for the revised modelling. | ghhghh
27/11/2020 14:11 | Seems you've found your fence. | ngms27
27/11/2020 13:46 | Interesting link Re internal OGA /HUR wrangles-did any one see this. hxxps://www.energyvo | flyinghorse1
27/11/2020 13:28 | Porrormahnn, they can tinker all they like but it won't alter the fact that the water cut is going to increase for fixed choke setting over time. | ngms27
27/11/2020 13:06 | The trend is up and will continue to rise from here.Very good entry level and so I bought earlier 200k shares. | deltalo
27/11/2020 12:01 | Hyper-al no he was in maintenance on a site in Yorkshire, so I took it he knew what he was talking about. | cinoib |
