Exactly ZZ!

M5, that's anyone's guess really but I don't think we are likely to be anywhere near close enough to TD for that to be a consideration yet. I was only joking about Dr T!

This could well be just a treeshake to get rid of weak holders. Wouldn't be the first time!

Lincoln flowed oil or was that fake news?

We will get to know as we get closer to Lincoln result as M5 says
people in the know get to hear whats going on before P Is so if in
a couple of weeks price dips "bad news" they start selling, price
rises "good news" they start buying

Heck of a lot depends on Lincoln, hoping it’s not another Warwick. On the seismic mapping, it doesn’t ‘glow’ like Lancaster or Halifax, but neither does Whirlwind?

Is there a disappointment on the way, hence the share price hitch?

bh, that's what I would expect. Do you think the big players will have said information before or after us?

As we get closer to the Lincoln result I would expect the shareprice to change direction in anticipation of a positive outcome, unless there are any negative signals if course! Is Dr T on the mainland?

Remember, Hur is a leaky share newswise. Keep watching carefully for signs. Over on the other board they hear things first altho they can be rather cryptic. GLA.

Where is the optimism of two years ago when from memory the S/P went
up to 75p (I think thats correct ) when we had not pumped a drip of
oil, now approx 400,000 bopd every six to eight weeks and now heading
for the 30p region, Perhaps the big players really think it is going to
dry up and stop producing????

If 100mill is going through in drip drip style the share price is gonna be all over the place

Hmmm, with respect I have heard that many times when an share price is not reacting the way people want it to. There are always people in the know before us pleps get to know what is happening and greed usually outs.

Re: SP

For the year 2020, assuming Brent Crude averaging $60 per barrel, the indicated opex of $15 per barrel, and forecast product of 20,000bopd then EBITDA for the full year is $328.5M.

During 2018 HUR managed to lose $61M with no income - then assuming similar losses the net income for 2020 becomes $267.5M, which assuming 1.25 $:GPB, equates to approx £214M.

Earnings per share therefore for 2020 becomes approx 10p. - which at the current share price gives a ratio of 4.5.

The gas and oil sector generally has a P/E ratio of between 20 and 25 - which indicates an share price of between £2 and £2.50 for 2020.

It all hangs on the planned success on Lancaster - GWA a distraction.

Jam tomorrow !

M5 I think we will more likely see a steady decline in the share price
over the next few weeks

I think we can all agree this is a biggy, so I am sure hot money will be coming in. If it does not I will be surprised and somewhat concerned.

I think we will see a steady rise over the next 2-2.5 weeks as we await the results of LC, then it will be show time and place your bets.

I'm guessing that they will shut in both Lancaster wells in time to allow the pressures to normalise, so that when Lincoln starts to flow they can see any connectivity?

Or will the previous tests run where they saw no connection be enough?

If you watch the CMD presentation they clearly state they will update the market on production figures quarterly in arrears. So all will be revealed we just have to wait.

qazwsxedc69, don’t tell me what to do, or judge me. The fact that you think that you can draw such a conclusion on so little info suggests you are the one that is flustered and panicking, fyi I am not …

I’m simply trying to make sense of the unexpected and very disappointing share price reaction…it has not met many peeps expectations, including my own. Suggest you filter me if you don’t like what I say. You’re coming across to me as very condescending tbh… There would be no problem with the company communicating to PIs the latest offload figures, it certainly would not hurt sentiment at the moment, particularly if it is above expectations, as others are forecasting..Feel free to apologise to me…and you bocase…

Yes that could be the case as due to step up after the first few months anyway.

It's so civilised on this thread without the trash lol!

Bounty! That’s correct, but they can then step up production whenever they feel necessary of course, so they can make any shortfall up very quickly...

Unless they shut in production for a while to test pressure build up.
The loonies will no doubt be back between now and the open tomorrow on the other thread, could even be posting there already as it's off my favourites right now!
