Sorry had to pop out to get my train ticket to Gatwick. Off to Turkey tomorrow for a long break.

HD -I just want to clarify: I didn't read your post at all. I purely answered where I started on today's posts at Tournesol.
I guess it's the nature of the beast [BB's]. so often misunderstandings and/or assumptions. Anyway I completely concur and in no way was I responding to your post;just for the record.

I phoned a few weeks ago. My holdings are nominee accounts and ISA accounts. Via the nominee company if you want to vote / ask. However printouts of ones nominee holdings will gain one entry only.

rayrac think they will let you in if you print a copy of your nominee share account holding, on that basis you cannot put forward questions

RayracStandard practice is that you need to prove that you are a shareholder if you want to vote. Which is why you get a letter from the nominee. But i've seen people achieve the same result by presenting a print out of their portfolio from their broker a/c which shows their shareholding. And I've seen many people without documentation get in as observers i.e. not allowed to vote or ask questions. If I were you I'd phone HUR 'a investor relations people and ask them if you'll be allowed in on the above basis.

As some of you know, in order to access the agm, you have either to show share certs, or if you are nominee, ask your broker to notify the company or registrar. But my broker says they need 6 working days..I’m late for that.

So I’m having to risk they’ll let me in on the day? Or is there another way?

possibly chopsy I had pencilled in JULY, that April date was last years, if we have a news flow period following on from AGM would think earlier the better. See we had M/A news this morning to add to the mix Ithaca Energy to buy Chevron’s North Sea business in $2bn deal

"More details were also expected at the CMD on 16 April regarding the results of the Warwick Deep well, whose aim was to delineate the adjacent Lincoln discovery in order to ascertain if the Warwick discovery was simply an extension of Lincoln.
As of 1401 BST, shares of Hurricane Energy were leaping 8.12% higher to 61.90p."

I wondered when the Capital Markets Day was scheduled, seems as if I have missed it!!!!

Wow,the share price has moved up nicely since I went out this morning. Pity it fell back from 64p but a good RNS will quickly send us past there. Bring it on - please!

Why on earth would Hurricane sell at £2 when they have more than 70 folk working with them in the UK...Hardly good business....Now £5 would be more realistic given the wells are bigger than anything else in the North Sea

Tournesol, Obmuj - read what I said! As Jack's pointed out I did not put a time frame on the wells producing as they should! I certainly did not imply that any short term production performance would prove up the play!I was merely trying to point out a possible long term perspective. My expectation for Hurricane has long been that as long as everything goes well with the EPS the company will be taken out, probably by a major, for around 200p per share, within the next year. The massive residual upside will go to the acquirer, not us. But it will be interesting to follow the consequences of success for the UK for years to come.Despite feeling unusually optimistic for me about this investment, I'm not taking anything for granted with this trailblazing operation!
