HD, my interest was tweaked because in my dim and distant past as a chemist I worked with economic modellers on refinery processes! Thanks again for your insight.

The comparatively small decline today against the market is intriguing. Have our big sellers now gone? There were three big trades today all for 1.6m ish. Two sells and one buy? Or maybe one sell and two cancelling trades or maybe a portfolio movement.

Hopefully whoever wanted out is now done.

Thats not correct, the last rns was the chairman buying shares, which is a sign off his confidence in the direction Hurricane is making.

Guardian for all we know the bulletin board may only be followed by 1% of investors. The last RNS we had was the AM was on an extended stop over in the Med. as we reach the two week point in Rotterdam I think we need an RNS to address what was said in the previous update and to clarify where we are now that's all.

A long as the AM leaves R'dam in "the next week or so", and then sits in Lerwick waiting on weather for even as long as a few weeks, then it's all going to plan. The next RNS I'd expect is that she's hooked up and on location.

BUT, if she puts into somewhere else (eg. Rotherham) then since this is unplanned, it would probably get RNS'd.

JMHO, and glad to see our share price holding strong while MOST of the other oily's are getting well and truly creamed today.

Blueclyde, first you wanted more RNSs, now you want less - make your mind up :-)

Yes they did. No-one expected the AM to stop at Algeciras and so the bulletin board would have been alive with theories about why it had stopped. The rns gave clarity on the reason for and duration of the stoppage and the board knew that once the AM continued its journey, the shipwatchers would post its movements once again.

MrX my point is that there is conflicting information in the market and my point was we need an official RNS from the company that's all! The oil voice article quoted a week or so at Rotterdam it's now nearly two weeks so that has turned out to be in factual information.

The point is the didn't need to RNS the AMs extended stop over in the first place!

If it hadn't been for us shipwatcchers, they wouldn't have needed to do anything. It's our fault. There's a good and bad side to most things.

FarDistantHills - I was a refinery planner for BP for two years in the dim and distant past. Produced operational plans for the Rotterdam and Antwerp refineries in the context of BP's Group Resources Allocation Model, at that time the biggest linear program in the world. Obviously had to spend a fair amount of time at various refineries and understand how they functioned.

Brent down 4.8% awaiting Putin's decision on the size of the Russian cut.

Tullow OIl down 6.5%

Shell down 3.4%

HUR only down 1.1%

I suppose that says something

How many people do you think read this bb for HUR? Also they did post on Twitter but that isn't official RNS.

Blueclyde

Just who do you think is watching HUR closely enough to read the RNS about AM putting into Algeciras and using the opportunity to repair an ancillary system (not as you say having a breakdown)

but despite being interested enough to read the RNS is not interested enough to follow progress from Algeciras onwards?

It seems unlikely to me that anyone with such a superficial interest would be dealing waiting to deal in enough size to affect the price.

Had a chat with Ben, very nice chap, and they only RNS'd the delay as they knew everyone was ship watching, now the AM is back on track re arriving in Rotterdam they will only RNS what they see as significant milestones, so I am assuming leaving for WOS.

They did tweet that AM arrived in Rotterdam and when it entered the dock.

Thanks Buzzzz! It may be obvious for the 30 or 40 of us that use this bb what is going on but as far as official news flow via RNS the AM is broken down in the Med.

Blueclyde - who cares, it's irrelevant. Only thing that matters is whether EPS performs as expected and what the share price is then.

No just frustrated that the share price is getting smashed and the PR has been partly to blame. Why RNS the AM had "broken" down when it was only there for three days or so. That day the share price fell into the 30s yet no RNS to say what the AM spent 7 days sitting off the coast of Rotterdam.

HD - post 35938 - v interesting. I had you down as a financial analyst rather than an analytical chemist;-) I'll have to reconsider. Maybe a financial analyst with a first degree in chemistry?
