bit more faith that the rescue will happen I guess. Probably decent value from here to be honest, with an improving UK backdrop.

There is talk about a recovery in Europe this year which would be good for HNT.

According to Selftrade there are three analysts two of whom have this as a buy and one a hold with an average target of 80p. Although the eps is seen as coming down to 5.64p in 2013 it is then expected to go up to 6.26p in 2014, with the dividend maintained at 3.5p. I think they would be very silly not to maintain the dividend as it is still covered by earnings and cutting it would certainly hit the share price. A big positive of the deal is that debt is seen as coming down from £67million in 2012 to £21million in 2014, so there should be no shortage of cash.

Chinese company may walk away, but if it happens, dont think it's because of share price. They are not like the traders here, they are long-term I am sure.

How many trades yesterday? Everyone ? less than 100 trades, meaning 1 trades were done by the same person and all were sells? The fact is very light volume and it includes my 20K buy.

Typical, trying to find a reason when it falls, but "Everyone seems to ...bail out today" is invalid I guess.

Added yesterday,finger-crossed!

Markie7 - However when they announced the deal the share price was below 50p so the Chinese must have already factored in the expectation that they would have to raise money at a higher price? But I am concerned by today's fall, it suggests to me that someone thinks the deal will fall through otherwise I would have thought 58p would have held. Perhaps I am wrong, following the DOW rise I hope to see some recovery tomorrow.

Bet the Chinese investors are watching this carefully......remember that deal needs to be financed....so they will be asking banks to finance a deal to buy shares in HNT at 58p, when the market price is (currently) over 10% below that.....and there is only a £500,000 break fee....and Chinese sentiment appears volatile overall. I wonder.

Cant really see 40p this time round Kocinski7 due to the Chinese involvement, however with the Dow up 180 points tonight we may gain tomorrow, crazy markets
