Rig count rising on the back of firmer WTI oil price, currently $43.

''Drillers in the Permian basin of West Texas and New Mexico led the rest of the nation in expanding the rig count. With crude stabilizing above $40 a barrel, the total number of active U.S. oil rigs rose by 11 to 183 this week.''

North american rig count turned positive last week, with oil price having stabilised it looks like a turn in the cycle.

Hello,
I would think the share price will drop quite a lot over the next couple of month's due to their customers trying to stay afloat and oil prices being at rock bottom prices.
This situation is going to have a real impact on Hunting Plc profit's.

Tipped as a sell in IC on 6/3/20 at 303p due to low oil price and 'US onshore recovery nowhere in sight we don't see a major uptick soon'
According to IC - NAV at 724 cents (per share) and Net Cash (so presumably no debt) at $78 million so doesn't look too high risk at (now) 180p. 12 month high at 675p starting to look tempting i think. Perhaps wait a few weeks to see how Corona and markets progress and maybe steam in if price falls much further.

Well that hasn't worked well for me. I'd accumulated 4 positions. I've dropped 3 at a small profit after todays results. I'd say there's a good chance it falls back at which time I'll consider buying more. My view at this time is that I will trade this over the whole year, anything can change though.
