Trader465 IMO you make perfect sense. Unfortunately, most of your observations will fall on deaf ears just as my comments have done for over six years now.

Meanwhile, over on the LSE bb BushyBetts the serial ramper tells us the "big move" is arriving. Erm, sorry but haven't you been telling us that for about 4 years now BB?

Probably not that ratio as they would have been obligated to notify the market if it was well short. Worth adding their last Twitter post suggested things back on track....although can't take anything for granted with these guys

Nothing is sage like or embarrassing, HUM is simply a 50/50 gamble until the next update.

Yep, IMO HUM is a heads or tails bet on the next RNS, if they miss and AISC is still in the $2000’s the price will fall significantly.

That is irrelevant unless you bought your holding at the very bottom, which you obviously didn’t. You were buying in the mid 30’s in September 2020 saying it was cheap. 35p to 8p is a 77% loss over two years, in order to recover your loss on that purchase the price needs to rise 337%.

You may have convinced yourself that HUM is cheap but you haven’t convinced me. Buying or holding HUM now is riskier than a 50/50 gamble, if they hit production we may see it rise 20%, but if they miss we could see it fall by 40% and resume the downtrend.

IMO it’s best to wait until after the RNS, buying on the way up is far safer than trying to catch the falling knife.

I nibbled another 15k today which I shouldn't have but HUM is very cheap and the political situation is way over blown imo.

Gold shares have not performed well since the gold price peaked in 2020.

FWIW I checked out the performance of CEY since that time. Given a similar performance, HUM would be in the low 20's. I'd be very happy with that right now.

I thought it was good for a bag of sand to see where it is in 6 months.

Certainly isn't one that's going to make or break me...HUM I feel might, hoping it's the former

Plat, 'late to the AAZ party'? It depends a bit on the length of your timeframe. Be grateful you were not buying when they were in the 120s and 130s. There is still a way to go even to breakeven for those who were earlier than you to the party!

There is a lot of luck in market timing. Some good, some not so good. Anyone who claims always to get it spot on is talking BS.

Sorry guys, fishing in the Gulf of Mexico and I missed a couple of days on here. I read the top half dozen posts just now. Thick and fast? Whoosh! Whooooosh? Hilarious!

#PH trading halted - limit up, now there is a thought, it does happen, 1 step at a time though, I will take a penny a day when/if the good news rolls in.. :o)

Talking of thick and fast...It took sustainable capital around 12 months to offload circa 10% of issuance and the share price still got battered.

There will be no such thing as an orderly market once the proper buying starts.... Whoosh!

Hi Aim999, all to play for and ''assuming'' HUM do get their mining act together, and Kouroussa is still OT and OB, then there is plenty of financial upside for investors.

Risks still are there tho, 1. Has Q4 been good enough, 2. Will Coris play ball, has HUM enough cash to complete Kour, and obv the usual Geo risks, but I'm tilting towards a good year for HUM.

Get some respectable Q4 numbers out and Kouroussa delivered in Q2 will change the game. The POG potentially is the 'get out of jail' card for the BoD to generate cash more quickly. In 6 months time things could look quite different.....However I've been saying that for 10 years with this lot.I doubt any decent offers for Pasofino until POG is safely above $2k....if it sticks comfortably above there then we be in for a surprise windfall, but not yet IMO.

LLB, the ingredients are all there to turn this around I agree, provided HUM produce the gold, which has been the problem for 2 years for several factors, both self inflicted and some not. All hopefully sorted now, but we/the market need to see it before the share price can really move north.

Hitting guidance is a must to start the turnaround. Buying is returning as people have slightly more confidence HUM may have had a decent quarter. POG is obv helping, as is the higher grades being mined.

I'd say an RNS next week is more likely that not, but wont fret if it's the following week.

#Temujiin, the upside could come in thick and fast IF we demonstrate solid progress at the Q4 update, consider KE 2.99 g/t, and KEUG at 3.94 g/t both of which we will be into this year, getting in ahead of those ores coming on stream and blended presents an opportunity to maximise returns.. :o)

Will we see our update next week, or will they hang it out to 31st..?, exciting times ahead in 2023 for us all here, 40 pence in summer 2020, 18 months of self inflicted decline with our trend reversal now in the balance and it is all there for the taking..
