#PH, I would also expect stripping to be underway by now, mining and stockpiling of ores early Q2 or as soon as a ROM pad is cast and dry to stack it up on..

A CIL plant is well proven technology so should ramp up fast once the reagent profiles are optimised if we can hit 1st pour by end of Q2/H1, getting there by Q3, and full tilt by Q4..

For 2023 I will go with a conservative 125,000 ounces..

I'll be surprised if they're not already excavating at Kor tbh or about to start very soon.

FWIW

I seem to remember that Yanfolila's first pour was going to be by the end of 2017. It then produced 18,875 oz in the 1st qtr 2018 and 33,101 oz in the 2nd qtr. That would suggest we won't see what Kouroussa is capable of producing until the 4th qtr of 2023. So, that's a year to wait for the combined production and AISC numbers.

#1knocker, what is different his time around is we now have Corica mining contractors involved and their staff/expertise/drill rigs/excavators and fleet maintenance planning..

With both mines running by end of June the potential for very strong cash inflows is all there for the taking now to hammer the Kouroussa debt out in 18 months, then it is dividend time... :o)

2,000 POG is just coming into view as the DXY softens and rate rises slow up, plateau, then reverse from early 2024 to stave off the next recessions..

A tense couple of weeks coming up with Q4 reporting for most due..

I doubt Kou will be producing early and I expect ramp up will have teething problems, so I'll give Kouroussa 30k for the 6 month I think it will be operational.

Yani should defo be significantly better than 2022, but I'm yet to be convinced by how much and they always seem to find a banana skin or two, so I'll go for 96k there.

Total, 126k oz

#DB, very intersting and thanks for sharing, the rise of the petro Yuan has long been mooted, China is without doubt gaining momentum as they take control of key markets/assets and countries through debt support and ultimately look to de-dollarise, a gold backed currency would make it fully convertible, but they do hold an enormous pile of US treasuries so they will look to get best value there 1st before trying to tank the greenback..?, Taiwan next on the table to try and dominate the semiconductor space..

#PH, some fantastic numbers there, and a 2 mine average AISC could be 1,250..? quite a turnaround if we were to see 2,000 POG by the summer with a 750/ounce margin..

I do not think it is likely Coris will pull up the drawbridge on Kouroussa funding now we have POG on our side with such a strong outlook..?

Q4 results and update getting ever closer.. :o)

#DB, probably 1 of the most frustrating shares, if not the most I have ever held, but this can often be where the prizes are greatest, all the components for success are in place, resources, plant, staff, products, prices, it just needs the mining contractor to do what they are supposed to do, and contracted to do on time and in full, the easiest part of the puzzle to fix should be the machines to dig it up and move rocks from A to B..

Kouroussa build and 1st pour just 5 moths out, 2 mines and 200K ounces production upstream with what looks very likely to be a USD 2,000 an ounce price to sell into as the dollar weakens later this year and a Dugbe/VEIN strategy work in progress..

Very much looking forward to the Q4 numbers to see if they have finally got some good news on progress to report on the Yanfolila operational side, I am not expecting to blow the doors off, just some steady gains and with a positive outlook for Q1 onward..

Hold on tight, the upside potential is all there now.. :o)

kickingking How DARE you suggest such a thing!!! Trader 465 posted lots of similar documentary evidence on here and another long time holder (after extensive research) suggested the same MANY YEARS AGO but they are BOTH delusional idiots. IDIOTS, I tell you! These guys wouldn't do that....would they?

LLB, my guesstimate used similar assumptions, but I've become used to disappointment.

FYI, the only time HUM came out with its 4th qtr at mid-month rather than month end, the results were surprisingly good. That was for the 4th qtr of 2019.
