casual47, no offence intended, but factual in most cases. How much does this Co owe?

HUM introducing a divi will likely also trigger a rerate (of the order of multiples, imo).

Trading shares is fair enough and sufficient reason in itself, no need to explain, but the reason you provided is pretty naff - sweeping and without fact.

"I'm out, why, they will never pay divi, miners just keep borrowing to find more."

btw Chip, do less research and concentrate on short term. Cancer and Heart Attacks can happen to the best of us.

If you enjoy your dealing, and research, do continue.

Hi Chip, impressive list, if that's your bag, prefer AVIVA divi @ higher rate, but admit, just a cushion and boring. I will remain a dabbler.

I will continue to watch, but fast 11%, it's me, £5K+ in the pocket, must do it. Damn kids expenses and all that.

Hard life init!

I'll be back! No doubt.

Hi Dud,

Some miners certainly do pay dividends.

HGM last was 7%. 5 yr average is 9.7%
CMCL last was 4.2%. 5 yr average is 6.5%
TSG last was 8%. 5 yr average is 5.2%
PAF last was 0%. 5 yr average is 5.2%
CEY last was 3.7%. 5 yr average is 4.5%
POLY last was 4%. 5 yr average is 4.4%
RRL last was 3.3%. 5 yr average is 4.4%
MND last was 0%. 5 yr average is 3.2%
GORO 5 yr average is 2.1%
PAAS 5 yr average is 2.1%
AUY 5 yr average is 1.9%
FRES 5 yr avg is 1.8%
etc

Given the expected FCF from HUM going forward and given that they don't intend to fund Dugbe from Yanfolila profits, it would appear perfectly reasonable for them to pay dividends IMHO.

Move from Cora to here, 11% gain, nice trades today. I'm out, why, they will never pay divi, miners just keep borrowing to find more. I think it is the blood, jest of course, but am I right?

Seems a good managed outfit, but forget divis, goodness.

If share price rises to 25p, I may regain interest.

cheers

Well, I have come back out of FRES into more HUM, solely based on my expectations re their respective Q4 results: HUM expected to be on target and repaying debt, whereas FRES felt too risky, the red/black more expected of the AIM casino!

Thanks for the "sane" thread, Chipper.

Thanks wskill.

I fully expect HUM to climb higher up the under-valuation table once the next financial results are reported.

Thanks for the update Chip on the metrics of the lowest priced gold miners see HUM is still one of the lowest priced miners.

I seem to have hit a raw nerve there!

I bought end last summer and it’s been a great share so far, no problems at all as far as I can see. If you got your timing wrong that’s your problem not mine!

moneyfornothing1 It's easy to check but no problem. So, after three years, what would YOU blame the abysmal share price on? Let's hear it smarta$$.

Nice try borderterrier but I don’t believe that for a single second, you seem to be the king of conspiracy theories on this board!!

referee1 Regardless of what some think, I am not trying to deramp this and as a long time investor here, I hope it isn't a negative update. But after this length of time why would it change? Pog is very positive but this management have shown in the past that they are incapable of getting it out of the ground. So they buy another ball mill for 11 million? Great strategy.

Hi BT, what do you think will be so negative about the next update?

moneyfornothing1 I think if you look back at all the posts relating to BH you will find that your friend new-buyer started that rumor, elaborated on it and then tried to blame it on me and he refers to it all the time. Sorry moneyfornothing1 you have backed a loser here, we all have. The forthcoming update will prove it.

"The Company intends to update shareholders with a 5 year mine plan based off these updated Ore Reserves and its 2020 guidance in early 2020"

"Early in the New Year we will release a 5 year mine plan for Yanfolila, based on these Reserves. It is our intention to then update this plan on a rolling basis as further reserves are defined. Additionally, I am pleased that we are able to re-commence exploration drilling and study work in Q1 2020 with a renewed focus on ensuring the mine's long term future"

So should be 2020 guidance, Q4 results, and 5 year mine plan all released this month.

Then at least annual updating of the mine plan, to sustain a 5 year rolling mine plan, incorporating priority new exploration results and ore outwith current mine plan

I believe one of your conspiracies was that the reason HUM invested in Bunker Hill was because Betts Snr went to the same school as someone on the board of Bunker Hill, is that all fact? OR just fact in your opinion.

Repeating your conspiracies?

My point about Jupiter is to rebut your point "Why are Aberdeen Life selling when gold is $1,556? It looks as though they agree with me". Jupiter don't agree with you obviously!!
