Quote from GB from the LSE bb:- "Let's hope that the Q4 production figures and the pog
push us back up to 39p". I hope that too........but don't hold your breath. I suspect any "surplus cash" here will quickly squandered on ridiculous projects by the "management" . Third ball mill perhaps? Salt mine in Siberia?

I pointed out-on the other thread- at the time of the killings in Mali itself that it was the length of GB away from Yanfolila. I'm talking about sentiment rather than the probabilities of Our mining being attacked. I.e sentiment hurting HUM's rating of earnings.

Meanwhile, gold has broken out above $1500 today.

I too am not too worried. The crux of the matter is the uranium production in Niger, without which EDF would only produce 25% of what France needs. They have enough socio-political problems already and a two day week would kill their economy.

Their armed forces are well equipped efficient killers and they obey orders without going on strike!.... They also accept losses, as they're a professional army, so the only risk is an intensification of their activity if Bukoharam make it necessary.

Uranium production is the key, and guarantee, to the situation.

These are still isolated attacks a long way from Yanfolila and seem to be restricted to around Mopti and BF. The french have something like 4000 troops already in Mali, so it must be fairly low risk, i.e. they're not going to be over-run, although an isolated attack could occur anywhere, including London, Paris or where many other mines are located.

Update on the above. I guess I spoke too soon. The share price for HUMRF here in the US dropped like a rock back down to 24 c. No reason apart from the "good news" of the Jupiter announcement. That figures.

I agree. It looks as though interest in HUMRF on the NYSE is rekindling over here in the US and obviously that's a good thing. Still a bit baffling that the share price on Aim in the UK is so depressed?

LLB

The company aimed to be debt free by mid-2020. Given the free cash flow it is currently generating, it can both meet that target AND increase its drilling spend. If you don't believe that, I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised.

gold is imminently in breakout mode so will help a growing company like this.
cde & hecla were suddenly up 10% yesterday on the yank so banks are losing control headed for short squeeze. Poor ol HOC in 160s. Exciting times.

And the "punt of the week" combined with the Jupiter announcement that "should set us up nicely for Monday" has done exactly that on the LSE. Nothing. Correction, millions of shares bought but no change to the share price on Aim. Just like I predicted. But here in the US on the NYSE the price of HUMRF is up another 18.36% today. Strange eh? Lucky me!!!!

Sold sister company (Cora), at a loss, in favour of HUM. Prospective, looks rather pleasant to me.

#Troc1958, interesting find, I suspect they meant net cash positive in 2020, but I will be delighted if the company is debt free, however I'm expecting this to happen a year later in 2021..

From Daily Mail yesterday.Hummingbird Resources (HUM) is gearing up to restart drilling at its Yanfolila gold mine in Mali and to release a five-year plan for the project in early 2020. It estimated there are 165,000 more ounces of gold at the site than it originally thought. The company's profile has been raised after it struck a deal to supply jeweller Boodles with ethical gold. It says it will make enough cash from its gold production to mean it can be debt-free in 2020. Production in Mali has previously been disrupted by heavy rains and weak infrastructure. A fall in the price of gold could hit the company, while shares are down by 2.6% so far this year.

Plasybryn No, I'm not that person. This is the only stock that concerns me because it is so frustrating. And no, I don't get paid for doing this but there are those that accuse me of that, even though this needs no de-ramping, it speaks for itself. I hope things improve here but after this length of time blind man can see that with the current Ceo and management, how utterly useless this is. Have a happy Christmas and prosperous New Year. But don't put your money on Hum.

Are you by any chance the person who ticks down every post I make on ADVFN, no matter which stock? Seems to make sense. So far the person has never had the balls to admit who they are. Perhaps you get paid for this sort of puerile activity. But each to there own. Happy Christmas
