Are you kidding!? Lower volumes today than Thurs and Fri last week + less than 1.4m traded, or less than 0.3% of total holdings. In fact only around 7m traded in the last 6 days (apx 2%) so this is likely only PIs buying. Today's rise is more likely that SR Global have stopped selling in to the demand. Dans interview was the right catalyst to wake a few folk up to HUMs imminent production, and today's rise is just the start! Lovely share this is!

Ignoring the recent price drop - overcooked IMHO - try UPGS. Recent IPO, £10m debt on the books, at current price paying circa 5% divi. I rest my case....

Can you point me to any AIM company precedent? If not, I think we can probably agree that a divi before debt freedom is possible but unlikely. I think it more likely a bid will be made for the company before a dividend is issued.

Yes I do. As that loan, like any other will be based on payback terms. It's no different to having a car loan and not going on holiday until you've paid it back...

Darola - yes it is possible to divi out before debt freedom and that is what Dan Betts said yesterday but do you really think they would pay a dividend to shareholders before clearing their mining startup loan? That would be unheard of for an AIM company.

Any 'big deals' would likely be funded from debt. All good companies use gearing to increase their footprint. HUMs significant free cash will make that debt readily accessible, with clear means to finance it. So just to add, you DO NOT need to pay debt off before you pay a dividend, check the balance sheet of the majority of div payers.

Yes of course the debt has to be paid off before a dividend is considered. It was just refreshing to hear an AIM CEO talk about the possibility. And Mr Betts is not given to hyperbole.

Imagine if just for once the bosses of a company built an empire from cash flow and not at the expense of its investors share price :-) Both Dan and Bert have stated that Kobada will be paid for from cash flow and not the dreaded dilution already, splendid.

A dividend would be at least a couple of years away but I don't think that it would happen. There's always going to be other deals to grow the business and so long as they fund projects out of cash flow and don't dilute us I'm more than happy to cheer them on.

Nice to hear Dan Betts saying free cash flow is shareholders' money meaning he wouldn't rule out a dividend
