I own over 200,000 but I don't care if you believe that or not. What I do care about is the complete B/S you dish out. Your undying dedication to this suggests that you have a family interest. To me and many others it is obvious that this is now and will always be Dan and Stevens private piggy bank. 15 p by Christmas.

BTW please read Retiredbankers recent post right now on the LSE bb..... or is he just another liar like the rest of us?

Well at least you lot can not be accused of ramping...
Some seem to have "Miserable gits" on permanantly...
No surprise if our friendly market makers are shaking out people swimming without trunks who loaded up prior to announcement...
Beware Border Terrier will have you beliving every move is a conspiracy...
if you do not like the management jog on
If you think the share price may be a quid at the end of the year and a couple of quid in a few year stay...

Sp500g I agree. Lots of fraudulent activity surrounding this as outlined in some of the posts on the LSE bb this morning. I believe one of the posters AW2124 is considering reporting this to the FCA. But new_buyer will be along shortly to tell us all it's nothing but more lies. And new_buyer. Please take the time to read the posts before you come on here pointing accusing fingers at me. I didn't make them, others did.

Very good news, it moves Dugbe forward to at least a DFS at zero cost to HUM, and we get a USD2M non refundable deposit from ARX while they spend another USD8M on the exploration and DFS and we retain a a 51% controlling interest in the project..

HUM have 3 shareholders and directors onboard the new private company, and as/if/when Dugbe moves forward to financing a mine build I am sure HUM will be a part of it, the company will be much better positioned to get stuck into a new JV in another on 3 or 4 years from now, all debts cleared, dividend paying with cash in the bank and able to part fund a new project from there with Yanfolila profits..

Win/Win IMO and good forward planning strategy.., if you look at the strength of the proposed CEO, the management team and their backgrounds, ARX are not here to drag their feet on it..!

Absolutely correct. It's a shell company.
There's absolutely nothing positive for HUM shareholders in it. Totally ridiculous are the brainless clowns writing "great news for shareholders / de-risk for HUM...". Lots of paid shills in here.

On time and on budget! On time and on budget! Yep, and gone down ever since. You guys that talk this up now are a cross between lemmings and sheep. The only investors to make money here are the ones that bought on the all time lows which were the result of Ceo and management c-ups. This co. should be re-named. Not Hummingbird Resources how about Betts National Bank? That has an appropriate ring to it.

UKGeorge you are on fire this morning, you must be wearing your keyboard out!!

Interesting to see the mix of opinions, similar to on LSE but obviously a number of the posters could be the same posting there and here. Would like to see more detail on the DUGBE deal myself, happy to see things may progress, happy to see that HUM are not overly tied into covering the up front and development costs but like many wondering why DB + 2 are investing directly as opposed to seeing HUM take a bigger %. Hoping to see more details soon.

The market is always right. So Hum is worth 27p.

Given the mine only has a five year LOM perhaps this is generous. Yes it is making good money now 4-5p a quarter. Incredibly profitable. But, this isn't ever going to be returned to share holders. It may be a few months even a year but the only cast iron guarantee is that there will be another scheme to siphon assets/free cash out of Hummingbird.

I hope they prove me wrong. No wonder Dan doesn't do public presentations.

I agree C47, potentially this can be a significant earner for Hummingbird in 3-5 years time if all of the ducks eventually line up (very early days). If and when ARX start to move the project forward it could also add value to the HUM share price in the medium term as it gets nearer production and the value becomes apparent. Without a deal such as this it would remain a dormant asset with no value to the HUM share price IMO.

Aside from the fact that Dan Betts and the BOD are more than well compensated under the existing arrangements, if they can 'deliver' the project as they are currently doing with Yanfolila then IMO it will eventually feed into a positive impact on the SP, so gets my vote :)

well jbravo - he will make 2% more of that money for HUM with no capital outlay. Everyone should win.

Happy with this news - it's exactly what I wanted. Dugbe is too much of a liability for it to have been done any other way.

The valuation of HUM should be well above 50p based on the Mali assets alone, provided they keep drilling and shoring up the reserves.

25p close now. So easy to trade this share.

Market reaction to this deal has been exaggerated: this is good for the company and us its shareholders. We get an experienced team with capital to develop the mine in parallel with Mali. The director deals seem a bit corrupt but that shareholding will be heavily diluted and as they say its a sign of confidence in the project.

Combined with yesterday's news of a maiden pre-tax profit of nearly $10m on circa $1377/oz gold, we should be trading above 30p.

Have just bought in at 26.5 expecting a bounce back to those levels as gold price creeps back up and investors realise this is better than it looks.

It certainly is an excellent deal for the junior partner.
That being ARX.
And I’m sure you’re right, he’ll make lots of money for the investors in ARX.

I think it an excellent deal for a junior. Stalker and Dattels are first class; world class. At Uramin, Stalker made a fortune for investors.
