So why do you own this BT1 if it is such a bad share ? That makes you either daft or one of those share “Bashers”; that tries to influence trades to keep the share price subdued . Otherwise you would have sold the lot at 29p surely ?

new_buyer Don't you just hate it because I'm right? Perhaps you shouldn't have ignored my advice on this and especially AAZ?

kennyp you’d save s lot of time by just filtering the board black cloud. Apparently HUM accounts for 10% of Borderterrier’s $1m share portfolio but you are right he spends all his time posting only on this share, makes you wonder eh? He’s better off ignored.

Borderterrier1 .. I see you only post on HUM ? Any reason for that ? Surely cannot be the only share you are in ? Some would even conclude you are a grudge poster or even a dreaded Basher ? If not then why you still in here and invested ? You must still have some ambition for the share price ? Just curious while I sit on the fence

Any opinions on share price drop today when POG rose ? Spooked me to be honest but might look to get what I took out back in before the next financials.

kennyp52 They struggle to deliver because they are inexperienced, over paid and they don't give a rat's a$$ about the shareholders and never have.

The interim results were priced in months ago when most of the bad stuff was known and the current price is forward looking not back.
The AISC has been reducing and will reduce further as production gets back to 'normal' without mishaps. So production could easily be 30-35,000 this quarter and AISC about $900 as they have produced at $800/oz previously.
Obviously, the proviso is 'without mishaps'.

i know POG has gone up since June to yet another level but if you can't make money with the average POG they have been getting then it is seriously worrying . Hopefully when I get more time to try and suss the financials I might be able to weed out some positives ... they mention costs on the new project being absorbed so if these are $10M then things might not be so bad ! As soon as I open the results I sold 90% of my holding . I believe a lot of optimism was built in at 28.50p . Might get back in later in the week as it has potential but it could also be another one of those JLP type companies that struggles to deliver for the shareholders . Good luck one and all anyway .

aim999 If what you say is correct, what happened to this share price in 2012 when gold was $1,800?

The current gold price makes a big difference to 3 years ago..... and where it is heading. All they need to do is keep production going .... the $$$ will follow.

It's just a case of waiting for the Q3 operations update. It appears that July and August are on plan with only September to go. At the expected AISC and current gold price ..... Kerching, Kerching, happy days

This was 13p some weeks ago and has just risen from 22p to 29p in less than 2weeks (and is settling mid twenties). Man...WHAT A DOG!

Guys grow a little patience, this is only the first day the recent recovery has faltered.

Most of us are fish on a hook since the bridge disaster. Some averaged down during the lows but some didn't. This share isn't amazon prime with next day delivery! Be happy it has recovered and show some patience. This has potential now.

Moneyfornothing1 Look at the timeframe here. What you say has been said so many times over the last 2-3 years and IMO it's absolute B/S. And clowns really is a complement. This "experienced management team" couldn't organize a pi$$ up in a brewery.

Slight pull back but delighted with this investment, looking good for the near and medium term future too!!

kenny52 Most of us have thought this was "making real progress" for 2 1/2 years or more. Unfortunately, its still just a dog.

So the new owner of Hum shares seems to be letting a few go at a small profit??

Whilst stars have aligned. Key one being the rise in gold - although macroeconomics might have pointed to that being highly probable. HUM is looking like an abstract lesson in patience. Previously hit by bad luck largely out of their control and a lull in Gold. But lots of good news to come, so the rise looks to be a trend rather than a blip. Only risk at the moment is funding, just need to confirm that they have the cash to fund for the foreseeable.

Well done to all those that have held on here. Not out the woods yet, but it looks pretty odds on to rise much higher.

goldfields They have sold off small stakes in other good companies recently to pay down debt.I'm a holder in goldroad and they sold their 10% a couple of weeks ago even though it's a great project.https://www.australianmining.com.au/news/gold-fields-committed-to-gruyere-despite-offloading-gold-road-stake/https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/gold-fields-sells-non-core-investments-to-pay-down-debt-300863344.html

Our good friend lurker5, never has a message board moniker been so apt, no facts just (un)subtle innuendo with nothing to back it up, see you again in 3 months old friend when the share price is nearer 40p than 30p!!!
