I'm away, otherwise I would be going.

I am sure that others on this thread would be pleased to hear any feedback if it is not too much trouble.

Reference my negative view on gold, it is mainly due to the terrible performance of the gold miners at the moment Fres, cey, poly to name a couple that have crashed. The mining companies have in the past led gold and been a precursor.

From share price angel quite interesting

Open seasons on Junior miners as Newmont takes 19.9% of shares at 200% premium in Orosur.

• The move follows closely on the heels of BHP Billiton acquiring a 6.1% stake in SolGold for $27m last week.
• The Orosur agreement gives Newmont a 19.9% stake in Orosur and the right to spend $10-30m to earn into the Anza project
• Zijin Mining have made a hostile offer US$1.41bn for Nevsun causing Lundin Mining to back away leaving us wondering what Lundin Mining might go after next.
• Oz Minerals took over Avanco for A$418m

Don't get why people like border terrier bother coming on these boards! Baffles me! Anyway, should be some good news flowing over the coming weeks, strong pick up of the SP, some long overdue recognition of HUM achievements!

Darola I have done some research for you. Hum has zero credibility over here now in the US. I have a personal friend who has traded for well over 50 years. Nobody wanted BH, apparently, it is a legal nightmare and may quickly become a money pit. No matter, Hum can use some of the funds from the unfortunate Pi's that invested here a year ago because they were told it was such a good thing. I guess its OK if you are using other peoples money? My friends exact words on the decision to invest in BH were not flattering. Perhaps it's time for a new CEO?

Just read the similar comments on the LSE forum re. BH. Seems as though I'm not alone with my observations? Perhaps a change is in order? Perhaps a CEO with more business sense?

Whilst it’s not ideal. They are still clearing over $8m a quarter at $1000 gold. Plus they have $50m in the bank. So debt will be well serviced and more than enough to slap s couple more CIL tanks and another ball mill in - which increases the profits by more throughput, probably just in time for gold to go on a run to $1500.

That's a big 'IF' casual47!

Why on earth do you expect a PoG of USD1,000/oz ?

If gold hits $1000/oz how will they fund capex for expanding the mine and at the same time service debt?

Hum is in a very unique position and as others have pointed out has outperformed the sector lately. So hopefully even if gold continues to do badly the share price will hold up. The company just needs to keep hitting targets and build up cash imo

UKGeorge, if you think gold is going to $1000/oz, where do you see HUM share price go?

Darola. You have a good chance to top up again today I see? And re. Pi's selling because "they have run out of patience" You are joking right? I first "invested" here in February 2016 and topped up as necessary. Today on a $100,000 bet I'm down about $20,000. I'm following Fsj's instructions:- "here for the long haul, it will re rate etc. etc." and his glowing reports on how well everything is going over there. Just how patient do I need to be?

Waylander1970 Fact. At the time this share price went quickly N, it went N because it was being promoted, talked up etc. by news items. The broker was then prosecuted by the FBI for a 50 million scam for pumping up SP's. Was Hum one of those? Who knows? I don't but niether do you.

Filtering again, I've now tired of laughing at him and am now just exasperated by his inability to see any other view than his own misguided, deluded one, in spite of facts being placed in front of him on numerous occasions. Keeps bringing up Beaufort, who had a recommended price of around 50p at the time, I think. Does that mean that he thinks Canaccord are in on this also as they still have a 45-55p recommendation? Blinkered buffoon!
