30/1/2018 12:33 | Looking at previous holding RNS: Pageant reached 5% threshold 2 Nov 2017, RNS followed 7 Nov 2017. Pageant reached 4% threshold 5 Jan 2018, RNS followed 9 Jan 2018. If they do need to notify further may take up to a month or two, depending how easily they can shift it. | casual47
30/1/2018 12:23 | good point casual...just sounds like we need to be patient and wait for the sellers to unwind. would have been good if management could have lined up a buyer for such a large amount of stock though IMO rather than let it drip out.... | qs99
30/1/2018 12:21 | Looking to buy in here and keeping a close watch. Certainly seems like Pageant is selling out. The 100K and 50K sale trades are indicative of that. As they dropped below the 5% threshold I don't think they require to notify the market any further? Even if they do need to notify further then I assume they only need to do so for every further full 1% drop, which can take a while if they are only selling daily few 100/50Ks. Great opportunity for new investors/top ups. EDIT: Slight worry perhaps that there isn't an II who is willing to do an off-market trade to get Pageant's shares, but with the general market the way it is that's how it is for a lot of miners, imo. | casual47
30/1/2018 12:07 | Two words here and I cant get them out of my head. Gift horse. | charles clore
30/1/2018 11:55 | These are very cheap imo. I’ve just managed to buy another 26,400 shares but there hasn’t been much stock around this morning. | jimbowen30
30/1/2018 11:15 | Bouncing slowly and surely! | qs99
30/1/2018 11:06 | Volumes seem too low for an institution IMO, but hey....also as you say, any decent offloading may need an RNS depending on which threshold they are Xng. either way am happy to top up sub 40p....DYOR | qs99
30/1/2018 11:05 | If it was pegeant should they not have released another holdings rns by now? | leontitcombe
30/1/2018 10:43 | Mbf -- Thx for that. Albeit hard to believe Pageant are selling here when profits are about to roll in and buying PVR for a high risk drill in the Atlantic Margin. Last official holding @ PVR 66MM shares or 11%. | westmoreland lad
30/1/2018 10:34 | Just bought a few quid more, no discount to offer...let's hope they can find buyers for pageant soon...! | qs99
30/1/2018 10:32 | Does not make a lot of sense to me, I just keep buying more ....good news flow and keeps going down, its going to take a while but value will out in the end ... | catsick
30/1/2018 10:06 | Chart shows that HUM have reached a major stopping point. With gold buoyant the shares look a sensible buy. | noirua
30/1/2018 10:04 | Pageant are offloading hence the weakness. Only about 10m shares to go. | mustbefunny
30/1/2018 09:56 | 25% fall from recent high having reached first production, gold price up and future looking rosey, looks IMO like someone trying to bank profits from the year's rise ahead of tax year as we approach that. Maybe in size. DYOR but I'll be waiting for any signs of that off load going and will top up, but let's hope there are no other issues we are not aware of...GLA | qs99
29/1/2018 23:21 | Don't knock ukog,stick with your own sure thing. | au24
29/1/2018 22:03 | Westie People would rather take a punt on other £100m mkt cap companies like UKOG with no revenue than go for a sure thing like HUM. :) The AIM casino as we know it! | brasso3
29/1/2018 20:20 | AIM Casino - compare your list over 12 months and let's see where HUM is then... | darola
29/1/2018 19:41 | You could well be correct Darola. I am also very much aligned with Charles in that I'm also astonished / amazed about the price weakness. In my book our management / BOD deserve medals for their achievements to date. Just out of interest I hold 23 stocks in my HIGH RISK porto where HUM was at the top of the list as the least risk, but now sits at the bottom of the spread sheet as the highest lose this year. The stock that was at the bottom of the list being my considered highest risk ( N4P ) is light years ahead of stock No 2. Q/ AIM CASINO or my bad judgement ? | westmoreland lad
29/1/2018 18:22 | Nobody will sell them as it starts to go higher, so the MMs are testing out the nervous and inpatient. | darola
29/1/2018 16:08 | Hi chip I agree the dip in price is seemingly irrational but what don't we know, I wonder? All things being equal I think a top up might be quite a sensible idea. | charles clore
29/1/2018 15:32 | - Stay in Cash | noirua
29/1/2018 15:28 | CC, Many investors expect very quick results these days and probably assumed a rapid share price climb on first pour. Perhaps there has been a drift away rather than wait for actual cash flow through commercial production. Who knows :-{ If they hit production, costs and FCF targets over the next year or so then in all probability the shares will be in demand, at least that is my view. My next purchase price target is nearly in reach so I admit to being pretty sanguine regarding the current market reaction. However, I do find the recent drop to be irrational - but that is so often the way with markets these days. Chip | chipperfrd
29/1/2018 14:06 | This share price weakness is quite astonishing. The gold price increase of late should havelifted this well above 40p by now imho. One can only hazard a guess as to the sellers and their reasons. | charles clore
29/1/2018 10:09 | I think the board know what they are doing - they will have a clear strategy in mind from when the span Cora off and retained such a large %age. It would seem a little odd to take out CORA now, when they have only just sold them the licences, plus HUM have their own exploration upside to add in, bringing Cora in now would become a distraction - spinning too many plates. The dillema however become more challenging if CORAs discovery proves to be north of 2m ozs. Then the bigger vultures will be circling; and if (probably when) HUM add more reserves we could see an aggressive approach to sweep up both.... in any case with lots more positive news to come from both companies, 2018 looks like it should be a great year - especially if gold continues to play nicely and the anslysts prediction on $1500+ play out. | darola |
