Who cares? If you are basing a valuation on an out of date earnings ratio given the current global pandemic, you shouldn't be in this game. And you need to know a lot more about the historic earnings of a global multinational behemoth than just boiling it down to one number.

I am patiently waiting on the side lines. No reason to buy imo at the moment bar the price has dropped significantly. No spark to instigate a change in sentiment so I am happy to wait. Certainly in no hurry. China is a big issue with this. Not going away.

Slight tick up on the news. I think the complete suspension of redundancies had been interpreted as a sign of weakness for the new guy.

Nah, this has a longer timeframe than a day or so on the swings. More like 4-5 days at the moment. Last time from 370 to mid 420s - 12-15% better than 2%. Come back on Friday...

At these levels, happy to hold if it doesn't come good. Higher low as well.

Now Raab is having a dig at HSBC bonuses. The faster HSBC delist in the UK, the better I think.
