TRADING UPDATE

THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONTAINS INSIDE INFORMATION

Howdens today announces an update to recent trading.

Recent trading

Since the Company's announcement on 9 December 2020, trading has been stronger than anticipated with good profit and cash performance. As a result, the Company now expects FY2020 profit before tax to be around GBP185m.

H a ha good try but your comments seem to have done us some good!
My contact says the opposite and likes the complete package at Howden's for his work.

Anway I'm sure here's room for both.
The UK is not that small.

Hi I'm a kitchen fitter and used howdens for years and always said they are the best and always use them for my own fits but I've fitted kitchens for Wrens aswell for the last 3 years and there product is far better than Howdens from a experience fitters view. I will still use Howdens but I do think they are playing catch up with Wrens now. Howdens will always beat Wrens hands down when it comes to rectifying damaged product with them having stock to replace these but Howdens are behind Wrens and need to catch up or risk losing more tradesmens to Wrens trade account.

Worth feeding some of this into HSS, fundraise complete and looks a fantastic recovery play, based on what is going on here they should be also doing very well.
