Grant of SAYE Options and PDMR Transaction

Hotel Chocolat announces that on 10 November 2020, under its Save As You Earn ("SAYE") Plan, the Company granted options over 631,246 ordinary shares of 0.1p in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") with an exercise price of GBP2.78 per Ordinary Share (the "Options").

The SAYE Plan allows all employees of the Group to make regular monthly contributions up to an agreed maximum, for a three-year period, after which time employees generally have a six month period in which to utilise the lump sum to purchase Ordinary Shares in the Group, at a pre-agreed price. The Options granted represent a c.85% increase in terms of the total monthly savings compared to the award last year.

Included in the Options granted were 3,884 Options granted to Matt Pritchard (Chief Financial Officer), a Director and PDMR of the Company.
