Even after the increase in costs related to the revamping of their tech infrastructure and before seeing the benefits of those investments, the stock is trading at 9% FCF yield and has net cash. Looks very attractive to me here.

I have not seen any relevant news, but I would highlight:
(i) M&A speculation on Thomas Cook may have rekindled some speculation on HSW as well, HSW being such an obvious target;
(ii) new buyers, especially a fund from Australia;
(iii) April was a good month for many laggards, especially for those where share price declines were much larger than earnings downgrades and valuation became quite attractive, such as HSW;
(iv) the new management team spent significant time meeting with investors in April in order to convey details on the business strategy (personally I find the new CEO to be very articulate when discussing their strategy).

Quite curious to see that after seeing 2 North American funds taking sizable stakes in HSW over the last 12 months, not we also have a new large fund from Australia.

This week I’ve delved a bit more into smaller companies with analysis of Photo-Me (#PHTM), Topps Tiles (#TPT), Belvoir Lettings (#BLV) and Hostelworld Group (#HSW). The biggest company looked at is easyJet (#EZJ).

FY18 numbers solid and 1Q19 trading in line with expectation. Given share price performance and attractive valuation, there should be a rebound.

HW have a strong market position, but they have stalled a bit in recent years. at the current price it's tempting.

which issue tipped in.. end of February or end of January? HSW has seen a gain since their tip... it just happens to be a negative gain... turn the share price chart upside down and it looks pretty good.

A truly forgotten stock. Amazing how often a few thousand shares cause the share price to plummet.

Well it would be nice if they could bother to put out a short statement saying that. Not sure why they don't.

Nevertheless I heard from a fellow investor that trading has been in line and that recent initiatives (investment in the platform) are delivering results faster than expected. Again this is just what I heard.

Lizard Capital now above 5%, second fund from North America to do so in the last couple of months (the other being Burgundy).
