Today's AGM Statement:

Richard Segal, Chairman, will present the following update to shareholders:

"I am pleased to report that the improved trading momentum which commenced in the latter part of 2016 has continued. Total Group bookings year to date are ahead of the corresponding period last year across all regions, albeit with more moderate gains in European destinations. Overall Average Booking Value is also higher than the corresponding period last year. Our continued execution of key strategic initiatives together with our highly cash generative business model positions the Group well to make further progress. While mindful that the key summer travel season is still ahead of us, we remain confident of meeting the Board's expectations for the full year".

Dunno about the lower sterling being a catalyst. The hostels are worldwide not just in UK. May be causing a surge in buying the stock itself by foreign buyers

Wrong, please check but there is a special dividend as well, so I have it as 21.3cents

I bought back in at the TU before resuts at 201p, I remember kicking myself I didn't get in first thing at 199p. I see some people didn't want the dividend, that's fine. I've sold out too much (about half, topslicing twice) during the rise which has gone further than I dreamed, will use any exaggerated fall tomorrow or in following days to buy some of that back in. Div is 10.4 cents, right?

When I bought a couple of weeks ago, it was collect the dividend and maybe a small capital gain. Then with the rise I thought long term £3 would be nice.
Now at £3.15+ I'm just running with it to see where it goes.
The dividend will come and go and the share price will settle afterwards.
If cash generation can continue then who knows?

Amazing volume with a buyer absorbing huge amount of stock. I took my profits but may regret it!

Looking at the volume , there was far higher volume going through this morning and we have gone up since, so I hope that means the volume was essentially large buys and that bodes well.

Well so far so good.

Rarely do I read results and buy early in the morning while spreads are at there worst, but I thought that the results deserved more of a reaction.
I guess these are small enough to be under the immediate radar so the reaction to results has taken time to warm up.

Typically as they now stand I didnt buy enough either

Nice one Fenners. Think I might stick with this one, I can see it getting to the 245p target at least, and with the divvy and cash flow, people getting used to terrorism and clampdown on airbnb by municipal authorities I think it's one you don't have to worry about *too* much.
