09/11/2012 07:42 | Really struggling now. ;-( | oakville
09/11/2012 07:40 | Oh dear. Shabby results. Revenue £527m, down 5% Supply chain disruptions affect European businesses where sales fell 30% Sales down 15% stripping out London 2-12 sales Gross margins fall PBT (£0.3m) versus profit £1.2m 2011 FY Divi to be paid but "In view of the difficult trading outlook for the full year, the Board is not proposing to pay an interim dividend (2011-dividend paid 1.7p). It is the board's intention that future dividend payments should be resumed as soon as trading performance allows." Frank Martin, Chief Executive of Hornby, commented, " The business is undoubtedly facing short-term challenges. 08/11/2012 23:04 | I have never had a share rise like this day after day. I am holding onto these. | madigansar
08/11/2012 22:19 | Yes it is, this is still cheap. Lundin group Co. Valued £27m. It will look ridiculous one day in the next few years.... ridiculous. | marty51
08/11/2012 18:26 | Wow 43c...and every dip still being bought into. Closet I will have a look at SNM as well, no dosh though at the mo until NEW brings it home...! | madigansar
08/11/2012 11:41 | Actually it's 42,000bopd. Even better ;-) | closetinvestor
08/11/2012 10:24 | Closet, No im long in HRN due to the track record of the Lundin Companies, HRNs the vehicle that will be used for future projects as AOI is full now. HRN also have 60% of the cream of Puntland and Id say there is a lot of industry movement around Somalia/Puntland now, SHELL GENEL to name two. Also know 100% HRN are looking to de-risk and get a Co in to drill Nugaal and 3D Dharoor, theres a working system there just need to find the oil. It bumped around 25c for a while so i loaded up and now it appears to be waking up. Im also very long on AOI. I like SNM also, 32000bopd wow!! my business partner holds that one. | marty51
07/11/2012 22:32 | O/T: marty51 - you looked at ShaMaran (another Lundin company)? I swapped out of WZR into them recently. | closetinvestor
07/11/2012 22:21 | No I wasnt, am in NEW, I got back in today at the first bell, I have traded it a few times will see how that goes tomorrow. Hold CAZA since last Wedenesday, very happy there. AOI is my biggest holding 80% of my portfolio, got in early at $2 there. Sold WZR the other week and made nothing in a few months there. Been a good year. Those are my four including HRN, which is picking up nicely. Lundin group are a shareholders dream, cant believe there isnt more UK dough in. | marty51
07/11/2012 22:19 | Doesn't AOI own 50% of the shares in HRN? If so any uplift in the latter would benefit the former also. Or are people buying HRN simply as a leveraged play - a quick profit, whilst waiting for the main course at AOI? Disclosure: very long on AOI | closetinvestor
07/11/2012 21:42 | Totally. I also have SMB, AOI, TOM and NEW. NEW is my biggest holding. I like this little stock and glad to have got in early. I believe HRN will do very well. Were you ever in COV? | madigansar
07/11/2012 21:28 | Its amazing really Madigansar because i have had it from the horses mouth that they will be keeping HRN going and ALL of their Companies end up worth a packet. No brainer if youre into oil stocks. | marty51
07/11/2012 21:13 | Am surprised nobody else is here! I am staying around myself. | madigansar
07/11/2012 20:39 | Yep its a good place to be right now. Stayin in for a minimum $2. | marty51
07/11/2012 19:11 | Marty, still rising - each dip is being bought into so we are at 38c!!. I saw there is a lot of interest in that part of the world. Great stuff. | madigansar
06/11/2012 22:57 | What im liking is that the volume is up and the rise is steady. Too much industry interest in this part of the world... and thats without any other projects the Group are looking at. Still a buy. | marty51
06/11/2012 20:58 | Marty I owe you a pint, up another 9.5%...! Wish I bought more, but £4k is a start. I was reading up on Lundins and Hill. I have AOI also. | madigansar

05/11/2012 22:52 | We will be okay with this one, they all come good with the Lundins and Hill. All of them. | marty51
05/11/2012 22:40 | Marty, I think it was you who mentioned it somewhere on one of the boards so cheers for the heads up. After I did my reading up etc I thought it worth a punt. I hope to hold on myself for the longer term and see where we go with this company. Up 24% today. Happy days. | madigansar
05/11/2012 22:10 | Good shout I bagged a nice holding average of 25c here so i expect a nice profit. This is the next vehicle and ill be here longterm. | marty51

05/11/2012 20:41 | Im not saying anything I had my finger on the trigger for 100k earlier and didnt do it. It hasnt retraced thus far. Its so small any decent farm in or other project and this will go bonkers. | marty51
05/11/2012 16:52 | You are so right, it did just that! Went down a bit after I posted - up 8% now. | madigansar |
