Horizonte has released results for the year to 31 December 2016. The highlight of the year was the publication of the Pre-Feasibility Study which showed that the Araguaia nickel project would have a positive NPV of US$581m using a nickel price of US$14,000/t and an NPV of US$328m using a price of US$12,000. Moreover, the project would be substantially profitable at today's nickel price of US$10,150. At the end of the year the company had net current assets of £9.0m; more than sufficient to cover cost of completing the Feasibility Study in 2017. We retain our medium-term target price of 8p.Finncap 17 March 2017

Wooster: The Shard analysis Feb. 2017 said first production in 2020, but in a BRR interview on 26 January 2017 Jeremy Martin said production 2019, so I'm not sure now which is right. Of course, there is not much difference between the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020!

JB-The "top indonesian miner" referred to is Antam again-already known about-it is very frustrating that the media keep on recycling old news and dishing it up as new-suits the nickel traders perhaps.

I believe JB from previous discussion that base metal producers tend to be valued at around 2-3 times free cashflow,whereas precious metals producers entertain a much higher premium.
