11/9/2009 14:56 | Very interesting indeed!!! | donemyhomework2
11/9/2009 12:13 | Nice reversal. | mitzis
11/9/2009 12:08 | This rise looks interesting. | liarspoker
27/7/2009 19:26 | That makes two of us then. :O) Touch too expensive for me to add here but will wait to see what will happen with the divi. In the meantime we collect another divi making it just short of 8% for the year ( FY & Int ) since I've held ( over 4.8% FY & +- 3% interim ). Nice. :O) | liarspoker
21/7/2009 15:53 | Yes I am here!! | donemyhomework2
20/7/2009 14:00 | Anyone from ADVFN still aboard here ? | liarspoker
05/5/2009 14:36 | Should never have fallen sub 100p. | mitzis
05/5/2009 14:27 | I must say that these net nets are quite a satisfactory investment imo. I've only bought 3 recently ( IPL, CAO & HDT ) and they've all shown a nice return. HDT has also paid me a 4.8% divi. TON would have been very nice too if I had bought within my limits. It's strange that people don't realise just how cheap these stocks are and given that there's a decent margin of safety it doesn't matter if they go broke as cash will be returned to holders ( in most cases anyway ). HDT is now valued at (( Stock X .5 ) + ( Receivables X .75 ) + Cash ) less ALL liabilities. So tangible fixed assets are thrown in for free. Way below liquidation value. :O) | liarspoker
05/5/2009 13:52 | I tried to get TON this AM Ben & Donemyhomework but then it was mentioned on CR's thread and went through the roof. I chased till 25p but then left it at that. Not sure if I'm too keen on the other net nets out there but I'll continue hunting till I find something I like. :O) | liarspoker
05/5/2009 13:27 | Hi Liarspoker - I have just bought some HDT. I hope it does as well as CAO. I would be very interested in your next net net stock. Perhaps you would give it a mention on Rainmakers value thread. Many thanks Ben | ben value
03/5/2009 20:36 | Liarspoker, Lets share the research. | donemyhomework2
03/5/2009 14:33 | For those interested in net net stocks like this I have found another which I like ( note: the ones I don't like are the ones that increase 100%+ in a day ). I will probably buy a few Tuesday or Wednesday as I want to do a few further checks first. Once I've bought I'll start a thread on it. | liarspoker
30/4/2009 21:17 | davidwilkin - hold left button on mouse down and scroll over area you want to copy. This should highlight everything in blue. Then Click on the Control button on your keyboard and while holding it pressed down also press the C button. You have now copied the text. To place this text place your cursor where you want the text to be and again hold down the Control button on your keyboard. Again while holding it down press the V botton. Viola. :O) Ben Grahams calculations are in the header. You should also be able to buy within the spread but you'll get a better result using a phone broker as opposed to buying online. | liarspoker
30/4/2009 21:06 | good wright up in money observer page 41 share sleuth, sorry dont know how to cut and paste. Says is a bargain share net assets £8m net liabilities £2m - market cap £2.7 mln - trading at less than half NAV. Benjamin Graham a well respected analyst said if any co was valued at upto 2/3rds its Nav - it was a bargain, its on my monotor now, hope the spread closes up a bit. | davidwilkin
22/4/2009 15:38 | No doubt if we all pass this on to friends and associates then the interest will see this share to over a pound soon. Around 70% of the shares are held by 5 people\companies ( over 3% holdings) and no doubt the other 30% are also quite tightly held. | donemyhomework2
22/4/2009 11:47 | The reason it's trading so cheaply is because there's so little interest in the company. Just sit back, relax, keep picking up the dividend and when demand returns the share price will rocket. :O) | liarspoker
22/4/2009 10:36 | See someone other than myself has bought 700 shares as well. Little interest in this share as it stands. | cotton4
22/4/2009 08:57 | With only two MM's there cannot be too many variations. One has the offer on 73p the other on 75p; no doubt the offer will move to 75p once we have a few thousand buys. | donemyhomework2
22/4/2009 08:24 | Tend to agree but early days yet | cotton4
22/4/2009 08:16 | Down 1.4% on going ex-divi - not bad considering that I got a nice 4.8% divi. :O) We'll have to wait and see what MM tactics are though. | liarspoker
21/4/2009 15:06 | Probably drop back a bit tomorrow but no worries, opportunity to buy some more. | cotton4
21/4/2009 14:12 | That's alright Cotton4. Still trading at a large discount to net working capital so a nice margin of safety. After the divi all your trading expenses will be paid for. :O) | liarspoker
21/4/2009 13:50 | Not a lot of takes Liarsp | cotton4
21/4/2009 09:52 | HDT go ex-div today. See above post for details. :O) | liarspoker
20/4/2009 09:07 | Just a reminder that HDT go ex-divi on Wednesday so you have to be holding by close of play tomorrow to get the divi. 75p to buy but I reckon you can buy inside. On 73.5p the divi is 4.42% On 75p the divi is 4.33% So basically if you buy before the ex-divi date all your transaction costs will be free. :O) AGM is also this week on Friday, 24th April. | liarspoker |
