I really don't think PM prices are that closely related to the dollar movements. They certainly don't move up much when the dollar falls that's for sure.

Indeed DT ... just gutted as I was going to see if the first 1st retest played out before a small trade on the 2nd ...but now that guy on the link you sent is saying no 2nd retest after this.

Guess given the last week or so I'l just be happy for his big move up from here to play out.

Or it could behave like it did last year - a steady decline to 189P then perk up again. No one knows. Someone will be right and someone will be wrong.

closer to the retest of $1300 (or roundabout)
will be interesting to see if the much touted strong move up from there materialises as per quite a few chartists and analsysts

Pallancata. HOC expecting Peruvian Mines Dept permitting for Pablo vein production in the next few weeks - end Q3 to early Q4. Then ramp up in production from 1400 tons per day to 2400 tpd over the next 6 months.

This will both increase production and lower costs at Pallancata and increase HOC overall production to 40 million Ag equiv oz next year.

HOC CEO 16/8/2017: "What I can tell you is that based on the information that we're receiving, it looks very likely that we should be getting those permits either at the end of Q3 or the beginning of Q4. We're working very hard with the government to try to make that happen.

What we expect is that once we have the permit, which I mentioned, we have high expectation that is going to happen either at the end of Q3 or the beginning of Q4. After that, we need to start the superficial work or the surface work for the mine development, raise boring and electrical work and such.

Once we have the permit, we would expect that is going to take us, I would say, between four months to six months to ramp up from, let's say, 1,400 tons per day to 2,400 tons per day. So that is pretty much the time line. Should be a relatively smooth transition between the 1,400 and 2,400. No, should be going up slightly by a proportionate amount to – all the way up to 2,400 tons per day."

Personally I have decided to take the hit as some like HGM are not suffering badly
HOC is being smashed. The dreaded could erupt any day so best not out. I may trim if 1315 is a fantasy hold and 1270 looks like it needs revisiting. AAZ looks promising.

The question is - when does $1300 = $1300? Could it be withing $5, $10 or does it have to be spot on?

DT ...re your recent video link.

If you go back to a previous video from the same guy on that link called "Gold Breaks $1,300 But Silver Lags" at around 7min 30 seconds. The guys says 2 retests of $1300.

I'm guessing it may be that Gold took out so many resistance levels that he now expects only 1 retest but would have liked him to cover that in his latest release.
