This is what I feared in my post of September last year.

The problem with Government contracts is that you can fudge revenues / profits for a while, but in the end, they bite if you have got it wrong. What I don't like is the margin collapse, which is indicative of not recognising costs correctly in the past.

I wouldn't bet against another profit warning in a few months time.

I was trading this and had a small profit as of yesterday. I won't hold small gains into a planned update given the gap risk and the recent RNSs were suggesting some weakness so today not a complete surprise. (By the way don't say yeah sure you sold yesterday as a) I know what I did and b) not bothered if you believe me or not!). It's off my watch list for now as trend broken for my style. Hope holders regain some of today's losses in the coming weeks

Had a fair run of late too.........

Will be interesting to see Polypipe PLP come Tuesday.........far less exposure to UK's roads programme as a group but was referenced in last trading update and last full years results.....

phil, the golden rules are there for a puropse.

It will take some getting back but Muir will be the man to do it.
Longer term, I see this as a buying opportunity for the brave.
A 20% pullback is harsh.
