17/5/2013 17:13 | Looking better today. | bluebelle
12/5/2013 16:47 | Surprised that this has missed out on the sector rally - the metrics look compelling. It looks seriously undervalued. | bluebelle
12/3/2013 10:11 | I felt these results were a little lacklustre. In particular the outlook concerned me, with the statement that 2013 had started slowly and so profits would be second half weighted, especially so. I've sold my holding first thing this morning, as although I still like the company, I expect to be able to buy it back cheaper in due course. Cheers, Steve. | stevemarkus
06/3/2013 11:57 | Looks very good value at these levels to me. Market cap less than 10 x forecasted profits. | uhound
29/1/2013 11:31 | I have a fair amount also. Management very solid. | wjccghcc
29/1/2013 10:33 | I have been a holder for a long time. When David Grove bowed out I wondered if the business would take a dip, but it has continued to flourish. I believe that they have a good management team and a good business model. red | redartbmud
29/1/2013 10:23 | Yes, I'm still here and holding. Results due in March give us a little time before having to back up this price move with some facts, but on the face of it the shares aren't too expensive, looking at the forecasts. And their last statement was really quite positive. Cheers, Steve. | stevemarkus
28/1/2013 22:27 | Well, I,m glad I bought these....anyone else out there? Apart from the bloke who keeps saying their doomed!! | bothdavis

05/5/2012 15:03 | 4th May investors chronicle page 27 Hill and Smith makes it through both a dividend yield and price to cash flow screen. 65 percent profits from overseas, well managed co with comments from brokers Brewin who believe there is potential for bid interest from the US. dyor | vraic

15/3/2012 11:36 | beginning to look expensive dividends paid in 2011 not covered by free cash flow | phillis
15/3/2012 10:46 | Stay in there. Profits growth is about to acclerate. | hvs
15/3/2012 10:36 | Looks good to me. My only dilemma is, having bought at sub 250 for the yield of over 5% should I now sell as the effective yield is down to 4%. I do like the company but I am aware that you should be continually reappraising long term investments to ensure that they match your targets. The problem is always in finding alternative investments that suite. The increasing profit from outside of Europe looks like a good reason to stay long. | lej2
15/3/2012 08:31 | OK. I make adjusted EPS slightly better than mean estimates. Positive outlook with one area ahead of estimates although usual disclaimer on economic conditions. Holding. | foxman14
14/3/2012 16:26 | Seems like some measure of positive expectation here, let's hope the results match those expectations | lej2
14/3/2012 11:07 | Has been a nice recovery from the lows of last autumn. US business should be on the up with the recent better news on the US economy. Hoping for a decent outlook statement tomorrow. | gco1133a

15/11/2011 15:19 | Back in for the yield in my ISA. Long term view in the hope that USA, Europe and Asia will invest in infrastructure projects, USA and Europe to aid jobless numbers abd Asia because they should. | lej2
13/9/2011 10:50 | retesting that 235 support level again this morning. Needs to hang onto that - next (minor) support level 188p. Next serious support level 140p from March 2009 (maybe 155). | m.t.glass |
