18/6/2008 09:49 | High volume here this morning. Bodes very well for a bounce back up IMHO. If you are thinking of buying in nows the time! | wallywoo
18/6/2008 09:18 | Yes. If these details are correct, then I like the net cash per share and the cash flow per share. Makes me think that the divi will be paid after all. So many people look at the EPS without considering that the actual cash flow per share can be very different. So what if a company's EPS doesn't cover the divi when its cash flow per share does!! | nigelwestm
17/6/2008 20:42 | From May's 'Company Refs', when price was 70p:- a/ Prospective PE ratio of 8.89 (based on two broker forecasts, both recommending 'buy'). b/ Forecast growth in eps of 19%. c/ Positive cash flow per share of 13p per share. d/ Net cash per share of 61.3p. e/ Prospective dividend of 8.71%. f/ Three directors buying recently. | welsheagle
17/6/2008 20:34 | With a PE of 7, can it get any lower. | welsheagle
17/6/2008 19:17 | Nice rise today. Any views on the direction from here? | nigelwestm
16/6/2008 08:49 | Interesting that Debra Williams (x MD of confused.com) has joined HWY. Show great ambition from HWY, and reinforces the likelyhood of a quick recovery here IMHO | wallywoo
11/6/2008 18:54 | This is crazy cheap but that dont matter the markets aint paying attention to fundementals at all. Mmmmmmmmmmmm. | slaine777
09/6/2008 16:55 | laity45 - Agreed at these levels. Chaucers all share offer for highway was when CHU was trading at 50p. The best interests of highway shareholders now would be if the company was taken over. They have been given a chance and they have been unable to turn an underwriting profit for 5 years relying solely on investment gains. Now that the investment gains have gone the managements short comings have been exposed. | miamisteve
09/6/2008 16:00 | Another director's deal... | nigelwestm
08/6/2008 19:45 | It is possible that these could be a take over target it was talked about a while ago I believe, and there seemed to be some good buys coming in on Friday. | laity45
08/6/2008 12:33 | Still stuck in a major downtrend, with no support on the chart until 45p. With the DOW having tanked the best part of 400 points on Friday, tomorrow will be another down day and that 45p will be getting closer. Not deramping, just an honest observation. These are on my watchlist, but I think that I will wait until the next update is out of the way. I see no need to hurry. Long term these should be as safe as houses (sic) and the yield should hold. | lord gnome
06/6/2008 11:43 | The question is how big will the divi be? I'm hoping they will maintain the divi (and I don't see why not given the company's large cash holding), but who knows? Don't think you can read much into the director buy. The purchase of 50,000 shares is hardly betting their home. To these kind of people, £26,000 is the small change... | nigelwestm
05/6/2008 21:18 | Doubt this will do much till it gets nearer the time for the next dividend payment. | laity45
05/6/2008 19:48 | No reaction from the market since the purchase. Surprised these haven't bounced off the lows, given the cheap valuations and rise in main index. | slaine777

27/5/2008 14:02 | Why the big fall? | blueledge2
27/5/2008 13:59 | blue: the Level 2 order book looks incredibly thin, so I would be surprised if you manage to get many shares at this level. Does not mean that it won't fall futher mind, catching a falling knife here - alot of other investors prefer to wait until the share price starts recovering. IMHO with this share though, if order book picks up and you are able to buy decent volume you cannot go wrong at this price | wallywoo
27/5/2008 13:53 | Good time to buy? | blueledge2
23/5/2008 10:13 | Just bought in, around 37K shares. Could well drop further, but hey with over £400M to invest in a market desperate for cash (and will continue to be for a while) - it is only a matter of time before things turn around. What happens to the car insurance market is pretty irrelevant in comparison. Hope I bring you luck!! | wallywoo
18/5/2008 19:06 | Anyone know what the current yield is? TIA. | slainegardener
17/5/2008 09:27 | Long term chart shows no support until way down at 45p. I'm not saying it's going all the way down, but it could get cheaper still, especially if there is a general market pull-back, which could happen from these lofty heights (6300). I'll wait a bit longer before jumping aboard. | lord gnome
16/5/2008 21:31 | I agree. It looks ludicrously cheap now. | effortless cool
16/5/2008 21:01 | With the market having bounced back up HWY should be happier about returns in Q2. This ought to bottom out soon as looking oversold imho. | rik shaw |
