Except that JakNife is 100% right when it comes to HNR. A corrupt company run by skanky directors who are only interested in putting cash into their own pockets.

Goodness! A company is PAYING directors? I thought they were all benevolent charity workers who did it for love! This share has been worked down but is about to spring back! Stand back!!

In the long run all wells decline. That's irrelevant for HNR though because all that you need to know is that the cash is going into the directors' pockets regardless of whether the rates are good, bad or indifferent.

From last year, the additional six are now operational - up to 24 in total could come online. -- Colorado Shale: having developed a horizontal oil and gas project targeting the East Denver Niobrara shale formation, Highlands retains a 7.5% carried interest in the project, which is fully funded and operated by Highlands' partners. East Denver is currently producing from two wells, with six additional wells drilled and currently being completed and to commence production in December 2018, with the potential for up to 24 wells in total.Add this to the commercialization of the nitrogen project that could come this year and their water project and I feel there could be significant upside to the current share price later in the year if it all pans out.

All wells are online, 6 on a reduced choke, some are yet to be permitted, what's your point? Individual well output of the 6 new wells will rise because their chokes will be opened-up, total output will rise!

Don't be a berk, they are on a restricted choke. How can total production rates rise whilst individual well rates decline,is it magic oil?

Fake news nobullplease. *Total* production rates may well rise but individual well rates will decline.

They are still opening up the choke, FFS... Basics! Highlands Natural Resources PLC (LON:HNR) told investors that initial production rates from the East Denver project have measured 4,600 barrels oil equivalent per day, and they are expected to rise further. The production pad to which the Buckskin, Citadel, Grizzly, Hagar, Ouray, Thunder, Wildhorse and Powell wells are attached is flowing oil at a combined rate of around 4,053 Bopd while combined gas rates were 3.28mln cubic feet per da

JakI was quite sure the 7.5% is based purely on revenue (part of the deal they struck)

What costs for getting it out of the ground? 16 potential wells pending. Nitrogen/Co2 income/overhead expected to fall. Much sepculation here of fund raise last year, didn't materialise.

Cotton4 Your calculation is missing: (a) the costs associated with getting it out of the ground (b) the local taxes that need to be paid (c) management's propensity to spend excess cash supporting their own life styles. Add these in and the bottom line for shareholders is ... ... another loss that needs a fund raise to fiance! JakNife

Where are you getting 300 from the rns says 4053 bopd?

4053 per day=28371 per week@$50= $1.4m per week or $74m per annum. HNR @ 7.5%= $5.5 or approx £4.3m.

Not sure how the 7.5% working interest works out in real money terms but going on 4000 bopd with a conservative $50 a barrel looks like 7.5% of nearly 1.5 million a week is pretty lucrative

Any news on these wells for oil production ? Provisional data from the three new wells flowing back, Buckskin, Grizzly and Ouray, indicate that these wells should perform in line with the existing two wells drilled by Highlands, which have been ranked in the top 3% of all Niobrara wells in the Denver Julesburg basin. Flowback from the remaining three new wells, Thunder, Citadel and Hagar, is expected in the next two weeks with timing being subject to possible change due to the recent extreme cold weather conditions at the location.
