I think we have 20 patents pending.

1 apparently is approved pending a fee and a final drawing.

2 final rejections, which can be appealed

leaves 17 applications outstanding

in the scale of things is 2 rejected actually bad news, what one should expect?

I know nothing about patents, other than it is very complicated and would do your head in.

The risk is someone reads 2 patents rejected and thinks 5 million dollars down the drain.

It isn't like that,

why don't we wait on an RNS, just that one patent approved may be all we need.

This is my take, and I know nothing.

Form 2: Application for Permit to Drill, Deepen, Recomplete, Re-Enter, and Operate (APD)
o Required prior to drilling a new well or completing an existing well in a new formation. An approved Form 2 permits the downhole construction of the well.
 Staff responsibility: Operator submits APD
o If paper APD is submitted:
 Staff scans APD document and all attachments.
 Records Admin staff links, electronically, scanned APD and attachments.
 APD is data entered into the Workflow Database (external server).
 Permit staff verifies data entry with scanned image of paper copy of APD.
o If APD is submitted electronically by operator:
 Electronic submission is noted by the permit staff. Permit staff performs initial completeness review
o If initial review indicates deficiencies, staff contacts operator by phone and/or email to request additional information. Operator has 30 days to respond.

o If APD passes initial review, it is imported from the external Workflow Database to the Workflow Database on the internal server. Permit staff posts notice of the Form 2 on the OGCC website and provides concurrent notice to the local government and in certain circumstances the Colorado Division of Wildlife (CDOW) and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). Permit staff and engineering staff perform concurrent detailed review.
o If detailed review indicates deficiencies, staff contacts operator by phone and/or email to request additional information. Operator has 30 days to respond. APD can be withdrawn by staff if deficiencies are not addressed in 30 days.
o Public comments, if any, are reviewed for appropriateness and posted to the website. Potential health, safety and welfare issues are considered during the permit process. Conditions of approval are added as necessary.
o If the permitting and engineering tasks are found to be adequate, the respective tasks are passed and the APD is ready for the Director’s approval.
o After approval, the APD is subject to a 10 day appeal period before issuance.
 Impact of backlog: Operators cannot drill the well until the APD is approved. Approval delays can potentially affect the operator’s drilling schedule and rig mobilization costs.
 Timing requirements: Per new OGCC rules, Form 2s cannot be approved in less than 21 days and the operator can request a prompt hearing after 75 days.
 Note: Location must be staked and surveyed prior to submitting the APD. If operator objects to the conditions of approval attached to the APD they have 10 days to appeal by requesting a hearing. The local government and the surface owner also have 10 days to request a hearing.

Interesting to note that one of them had to have permission from Renegade to Frack because it was within a 150' limitation of an old well of theirs.

Also, they have changed all four to oil based mud... "Permit Changed to oil-based drilling fluids per Operator request. 02/24/2017".... that won't be cheap I'm afraid...:-)

Most people that are aware of what is happening are already loaded up. A few investors have topped up today and last Friday and people are just waiting for the news to drop, in other words, waiting for the 4 horizontal well permit approval and the 16 well pad location and spacing approval.

This will start to move and trading increase as soon as the COGCC documents is updated but moreso when an RNS is issued with the non dilutive funding. The volume will be huge.

My prediction was quoted which included both the permit approval as well as the non dilutive funding. See my post below from LSE

The breakout will be confirmed if it closes above 29.5p and confirms the start of a new uptrend which will be the largest close since 9th January. Bit of a stalemate here.
Nobody wants to sell but nobody wants to buy.
Expected news is usually priced in, worrying times for you giglo given the expectations you have built up and the degree of emotional capital you have invested.
On a positive note, have you thought about which country to escape to if the funding RNS doesn't follow the permit?

Costs Rica is cheap for those on limited means.

If somebody can tell me why Family Values clearly has a poor reputation here, I would seriously appreciate anyone's input as I would feel his antics are not much appreciated on here and saves me looking through all the posts.

Keya5000 used to ban idiots like him or restrict their posts as he started this thread when I used to post here regularly but clearly his views are clearly somewhere else.

It is a shame that ADVFN put up with inexperienced posters that push away regulsr informative posters here which can generate more revenue. But I suppose LSE will win on this issue and we have to listen to the odd fool here and there.

I have now sold out at a significant percentage loss.
I have only my self to blame as several individuals on the lse site warned repeatedly that this would happen.
Thanks especially to skinner and superbrugha I only wish I'd taken your advice earlier.
No more listening to rampers for me large well established companies from now on.

Look at cloudburst and FV history and you can see where they invest why they have no clue
