Results of Scrip Dividend Election

Highland Gold Mining Limited ("Highland Gold" or the "Company", AIM: HGM) today announces the results of the Scrip Dividend election for the interim dividend of GBP0.024 per share to be paid to shareholders on 7 June 2019.

The Company received Scrip Dividend elections with respect to 3,628,719 shares representing approximately 1% of the Company's total issued share capital. This will result in the issue of 53,549 new ordinary shares of GBP0.001 each (approximately 0.014% of the current issued share capital), based on a value of GBP1.626 per share as announced by the Company on 2 May 2019.

Highland Gold has applied for admission of these new shares to trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange at 8.00am on 7 June 2019. Share certificates will be posted to certificated shareholders who elected for scrip dividend shares, while shareholders holding shares in CREST who elected for scrip dividend shares will have their CREST accounts credited directly on 7 June 2019.

Following the issue of these shares, the issued share capital of Highland Gold will be 363,896,990 ordinary shares of GBP0.001 per share. This number may be used by Highland Gold shareholders as the denominator for calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify of their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

The Scrip Dividend alternative was offered in accordance with the Company's Scrip Dividend Scheme as approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on 24 May 2018. Details of the scheme are available on the Company's website at www.highlandgold.com.
