You miss my point srpactive I still think it is game on for HGM I like and hold them and expect price to go higher.

However short term I can see the 130 coming soon unless price bounces and quickly.

The gold price over the past 30 days has remained positive,
from $1257 to $1290, $1263. Whilst at the same time hgm has
fallen from 190p to 142p some twenty five percent, this would
have triggered many stops to create sell upon sell for some
investors, falsely in my honest opinion. Now once the
share price starts to appreciate, I feel investors will be
happy to buy at around 150 - 160p thinking they have bought
well instead of 190p and the price firms and improves.
GC, I know you are not in gdl, but wish me luck for tomorrow.
AIMHO, DYOR.

Looks like there is a real potential to hit the 130 I was talking about.

Time will tell SRP, but sadly it's only GVC that ever do well for me.

It is 25% lower than it was only a few weeks ago, I
would say you have timed this brilliantly, well done.

I probably paid the high of the day here, yet again.I might have to hold these longer term.

Dividends from both gvc and hgm are eye watering
based on purchase prices.

That applies to every stock on the market as the US can and
do what they want, BP!

25% drop is sufficient in my honest opinion.

Can the Russians not just take it over and we will get nothing they do what they want anyway

Tough call for bottom. 142 might have been it. I'm hoping a bit more down side before I top up. Both HGM & CEY down, so that supports further drop notion.

My major holdings are blue chip. However, a little dabbling keeps the heart pumping.

Takes you to a yield of 7% and growing.

Something around that figure, with gold
as it is, the Russian government buying all
gold produced by Russian miners, and the yield
at 7%, why wouldn't he just buy the rest for
say £280m and pocket all the future growth.

He is worth around £7bn is he not.

I would if I was him, dyor.

Your original investment in 2014/5 will be paid
back in dividends within a couple of years, very
well done. I do feel this mark down will draw
some interest from the big takeout players,
Mr Chelsea for one I would have thought, dyor.

Interesting you mention 40p, the current rsi is at
a similar level to then. Data from advfn charts.

Sold all my POG shares this morning and bought more HGM for that massive yield. Also sold some EZJ to buy more HGM for my SIPP. It seems very oversold at the moment but certainly will come back. I guess later this year when the Fed realises they have to slow down raising rates. Gold is insurance now in this highly indebted world and exposure to gold miners are a perfect bet on gold without actually owning it. Also this and CEY is a very solid company with a good track record. I've been buying this since it was in the 40s and sit on a good profit but keep holding for the generous divi.
