09/11/2012 14:30 | skyship some trades going at 288 in NRI . In HPEQ did try to buy more at 364 and no luck. | jaws6
09/11/2012 10:32 | BT - as usual one can deal within the spread, though better bid than offered at the moment I believe. Perhaps wait for that HPEQ cash; though likely to then miss the upcoming NRI tender... | skyship
09/11/2012 09:42 | Sky...no NRI..i have watched them from about 250p and havent totally dismissed them...re GHE..been in and out of those...tad illiquid which puts me off a bit EDIT..Re NRI..i guess with results due i should look at them again...funds a bit limited though....that spread looks yuk | badtime
09/11/2012 09:15 | How about GHE? | eeza
09/11/2012 09:08 | badtime - have you bought into NRI yet? No such thing as guaranteed, but dig deep, take a long hard look at all the links I've posted, then see if you might at least partially agree with me that NRI makes a very good HPEQ substitute. | skyship
08/11/2012 16:50 | If there was another HPEQ guaranteed you wudnt really have to look anywhere else | badtime
08/11/2012 15:18 | :) Not sure can really do the annualised calc when so close. 386p, paid before Xmas, with one final payout (at 100% not 99%) I guess in Feb/March? HPEQ's been a wonderful ride. | spectoacc
08/11/2012 15:15 | yes so minimum 10% in year at today's price ? | jaws6
08/11/2012 15:11 | Wow that was out of left field - was expecting 100% tender to be next, but in Jan or Feb. | spectoacc
08/11/2012 15:01 | .....& effectively for a minimum of 2/3rds of holdings: | skyship
08/11/2012 14:57 | RNS - 3rd tender @ 386.691p. Pay 21 Dec. | eeza
30/10/2012 11:03 | :) Can't be many more stable listed co's. In theory, price should very slowly tick up (say a penny a fortnight) to account for the time value of money, as we get closer to final redemption. Hard to do that calc until actually have a date mind! | spectoacc
30/10/2012 10:49 | shock horror hpeq down lol | badtime
25/10/2012 12:48 | new fact sheet | jaws6
23/10/2012 18:47 | RNS Premium account cancelled. £17mill transferred to reserves. | eeza
10/10/2012 10:35 | Thanks @AlanJI, though the RNS seems pretty clear: "...The Company's Manager...has been able to make a reliable estimate of the total performance fee...Accordingly, a performance fee provision of GBP1.9 million has been included...A summary of the Company's performance fee arrangements is contained in the Company's Annual Report." From that, it's only changing if something fundamental changes, up or down. The inclusion of the word "reliable" suggests their confidence: just the word "estimate" would have done. I'd expect a few p of costs to wind the co up though, so am hoping for/expecting about 390p in the first few months of 2013. Happy to sit on what I've got left but perhaps only a buy on confirmation of final return (time value of money and all). | spectoacc
10/10/2012 09:56 | If I was still holding I would be asking the co why full provision has not been made for the incentive fee and how they have calculated the £1.9m | alanji
09/10/2012 21:27 | skyship No prob .If we get more then 8% from here is still better then some other stocks. | jaws6
09/10/2012 16:54 | Jaws - I was working on 8% up from the bid price, not the offer price. The final realisations could of course take the NAV either way... | skyship
09/10/2012 15:46 | agree. I think 8% is 397 so you right to guess bit more then 30p | jaws6
09/10/2012 15:37 | NAV as at 30th Sept = 392.4p after allowing for the performance bonus; so really no point in selling...just wait for the cash, over 8% upside... | skyship
04/10/2012 10:37 | Alanji Tks. | jaws6
04/10/2012 08:34 | Thnx for that Alan. All pretty small beer.... | skyship
04/10/2012 07:47 | I have not kept fully up to date with HPEQ as I sold my shares last month but I had the value of Century at £2.1m at 31 July. Seems strange though that the co did not include this in the rns. | alanji
03/10/2012 13:48 | YES - however would have been nice to have know whether at a discount or at a premium to the last valuation!: 3 October 2012 - Realisation Strategy Disposal Henderson Private Equity Investment Trust plc ("the Company") is pleased to announce that it has completed the transfer of its limited partnership commitment to Century Capital Partners IV, L.P. ("CCP IV") to a third party. The Company has received cash proceeds of US$2.9 million for the sale of its limited partnership commitment to CCP IV.
