07/1/2002 09:20 | ruth - fine here. They adjusted some margin requirements at about 8.30am, maybe that's messed things up. Am I the only one short the major techs, not believing this rally? Short MSY, LOG, SPT & watching ARM, on a pe of 150 & mobile sales having slowed. I know the "green shoots" are theoretically appearing, but IMO we've virtually priced in a return to the boom years. I like the notion that the Nas100 is on a pe higher than March 2000, based on grossly over-optimistic (IMO) analyst estimates of 16% av. earnings growth for 01.
