05/3/2022 09:28 | My extreme low for this folks is 45p | superiorshares
05/3/2022 09:26 | I would vote leave a thousand times again . Looney energy policy :-) . What inept institution gave birth to that ? . Your beloved EU is constantly looking to expand its territory. That will end in War ..oh wait it already has done . | superiorshares
05/3/2022 06:50 | Supplementing my pension income with reasonably secure high income paying shares and / or bonds. Not bought yet because there are so many other alternatives with higher yields. LGEN looks very tempting but I reckon it will fall further while Putin foams at the mouth. Not sure that any economic catastrophe, if it comes, will be due to the EU though. War in Ukraine, lunatic lockdown policies, equally loony energy policy etc. I say that as a remain voter back in 2016 who would now definitely vote leave. | ammons
01/3/2022 09:40 | I'm tempted...discount now 8%+ | unastubbs
24/2/2022 10:54 | Bought back in a earlier at below 76p. An opening position in case markets go significantly lower. | cc2014
22/2/2022 10:31 | Henderson Diversified Income Trust plc (the "Company") has declared a third interim dividend of 1.10p per ordinary share, in respect of the year ending 30 April 2022, payable on 31 March 2022 to shareholders registered at the close of business on 4 March 2022. 17/2/2022 14:01 | Yields falling, low in?. | essentialinvestor
16/2/2022 12:38 | Luck with your holding - gives some relative safety should equity markets go south, plus the fat divi payments. | essentialinvestor
16/2/2022 10:10 | I bought 15k shares FWIW - sub 80p. | value hound
11/2/2022 15:10 | Had another 30k, that's my lot now. | essentialinvestor
11/2/2022 13:53 | Afteroon All Just taken a small nibble at 79.5p. share price looks in a bit of a downtrend for now, so might well pay to wait for a bit to buy any more but, hopefully, I'll be paid just about enough on this tranche to beat having it sitting about doing nothing(as I have a fair amount doing at the moment due to "market nerves"). | cwa1
11/2/2022 12:07 | CC, hell of a lot depends on whether this sell off is something more significant. Still arguably a boatload of egregiously overvalued and lower grade tech businesses stateside, however perhaps opportunities beginning to emerge on the LSE, EXPN as one possibility. | essentialinvestor
11/2/2022 12:05 | I'm not sure what to do here, so I'm sitting it out for the moment. I may change my mind in an instant. Other options are starting to appear. BIPS is being sold off too. | cc2014
11/2/2022 11:42 | Added 30k. | essentialinvestor
11/2/2022 11:19 | So 80 pence has finally cracked - a long time coming!. | essentialinvestor
10/2/2022 10:28 | CC, holding some current stock positions, like Melrose (MRO) that tend to be sold off hard on risk off sentiment. Viewing HDIV as providing a degree of relative "safety" in that context. May still be available under 80 pence. | essentialinvestor
10/2/2022 09:14 | Who knows EI? I don't think 80.8p is a bad price. Certainly you've been patient and got a better price than very many people. I have thought about buying here myself but I can't quite bring myself to pull the trigger. Perhaps this will be the bottom and I will miss out. I'm in two minds. Where's the buy-back scheme gone? The last share purchase was in November so I assume the investment manager is happy with the discount as it is. I was much higher being in this stock when the price was higher up when the fund manager was buying but that's stopped. I guess the biggest thing stopping me pulling the trigger is high equity markets in general. I would prefer to be buying when markets are under pressure and I can either get a better price or see if there is any support for the price on a bad day. Good luck | cc2014
09/2/2022 17:13 | Bought some today at 80.8, not sure I should be admitting this!. Viewing as a partial hedge against some cyclical equity positions. Expected this to dip sub 80 pence, which may still happen. | essentialinvestor
09/2/2022 13:28 | Peter, as per recent discussion here. CC made a very astute point re valuations with a specific example in a recent post. | essentialinvestor
09/2/2022 13:19 | #231 Indeed. The NAV has fallen from 92p to 86.5p due to rising interest rates and the share price has gone with it. | cc2014
09/2/2022 12:54 | Central Banks raising interest rates to combat inflation should have an adverse effect on the corporate bond market ... won’t this have a negative impact on HDIV share price? | peterbill
09/2/2022 12:17 | Teetering. | essentialinvestor |
