Just throwing this out there. Has anyone managed with their broker to have their shares put back into their ISA? I had a backwards and forwards with Halifax who refused to move them back into my ISA.

Cheers

Hi Oakridge.

HSBC gave me the certificate when SPAC delisted and told me that they weren't going to deal with it.

I couldn't get hold of the registrars when I posted this however, they have since emailed me to say the certificates are still valid.

Regards

Sorry...I've just realised I've answered a question you didn't actually ask.

I'll check. But the certificates should of course likewise be HELD imo.

Ash, my legacy holding automatically changed to HELD a few days before the relisting. So should yours imo. Give your broker a call.

Just realised that I still have my SPAC share certificate (Not HELD)
Does anyone know if they are issuing replacement certificates or are the SPAC ones still valid?

Promising start, bit of a damp squib to finish to be fair. Still expecting to see a decent rise from here in the coming days/weeks.

As a holder I think the rise is great
This company has loads of potential
But having well over 12 billion shares in issue at a fraction of a penny is of course to many shares and at to low a price and management should have realised this prior to listing
Only in my opinion

James, around 95% of us have him (and his other aliases) on filter. Be kind to yourself! It's one click away.

felchandbart - correct re the industry sentiment. There will be a number of events for the space as a whole over the coming 12 - 18 months.

HELD just need to get their heads down and deliver on their existing term sheet into Germany. If they do that and deliver cash, the mkt will look at their license and the outright scalability of their operations in Greece and make a decision.

CEL have achieved a lot and they should be congratulated.......but I stick by the question I posed on here several weeks ago, namely that if you were a cultivator based in Western Europe - for Example in the UK - and you looked at your growing facility and the associated costs, would you be at all concerned by the likes of a company such as HELD who have a license and facility to grow many times yourself, and with a cost of production infinitely lower? When investing it is always good to put yourself in the shoes of your competitors and take an outside view of the company you are interested in.

We should know by the end of the year the likelihood of them successfully scaling to become a major European producer.

Further deals signed into other European countries will point to both their own confidence on delivering and the confidence those other customers have in them.

Looks like we have some forward momentum - this could rise very quickly now. Industry sentiment beginning to turn in our favour.

Morning folks.

Yet more news of sector relevance today, at MGC pharma (first patient enrolment on another cannabis trial, with implications for the NHS). Not something I would necessarily run to buy into this morning....but another clear example of momentum in the space as a whole, which should define 2023 over 2022.

As for HELD, the shares are a buy and a hold imo. Although I comment regularly on this company, all my shares are bottom-drawered and my target and timelines are laid out.

New faces looking in (and there will be many, over the coming months) should soon be able to determine who the resident trolls are. I expect them to become only more bitter as the company advances. Shares in issue matter in so far as you want them to matter. I doubt very much they will matter to those buying in at 0.09 and who may well end up selling for 0.9p.

The company is barely known by the mkt and it has yet to start releasing truly meaningful news. I think you will find the genie is out of the bottle once they begin delivering cash and the mkt wakes up to just how big an operation they could become. You only have to look at the buzz at CEL, who possess only a tiny fraction of HELD's potential to scale (and the cost of production headwinds in the UK) to realise the opportunity Greece offers.

AIMO & ADYOR etc

For a start, it probably means they are accountable to higher standards and levels of scrutiny but it may be equally appealing, further out, should the company want to acquire or be acquired (which is the ultimate end-game, I'm sure).
