I dumped my 9,000 near the open, had to split up the trades in to 4 lots.
Lucky to exit my latest buys with a small profit, the bid went to just over 337.

Noticed the RNS today.

What I find interesting is HLCL are recycling in to London at a time
when GPOR, who are London specialists, have their lowest LTV I can remeber.

Now in fairness the HLCL recycling could be staggered over a number of years.

However if you look at how cautiously LAND, BLND and in particular GPOR
are positioned in LTV % terms, it may require a decent sized downturn for that to pay.

bt, had a look earlier, probably should have pulled the trigger,
however HLCL can move quickly in either direction, still looks rather cheap
though imv.

Watching a few situations atm, so difficult to stay on the ball with everything.

lol, my other half is from the IOM, that's about as close as I get!.


Also keeping in mind that we are late in this bull market, late on most historical metrics,
so opportunities may not be available in more volatile times. Although really could do with
some market weakness now, about out of new ideas at current market levels.

Some prices beginning to look near ridiculous.

Same here...more than 2/3 pence ..most buy to 'hold' divi payers ..then a smaller part of cash for capital gain 'holds' and trades on stocks I've followed..been doing it quite a while but always learning

A little more than 3 pence.

HSTN is my main sector holding.

Can't speak for bt, however this is what I do for a living,
most of my investments are longer term through IT's, this enhances
overall returns.

Most people may not have the time and even less so the
inclination to short term trade, it's much easier to buy and hold.

Why are you two trading HLCL for 2-3p? I would have thought that it was a lot more effort than its worth, the risk reward on those trades must be shocking.

Ta...I've got there bonds which I'm happy to keep ..made money trading the ords before ..but as u know the share price moves around a bit which is good if I've got time to watch it ..but I haven't ..back to work now

Just have over 1,000k left, 2% moves for HLCL seem run of the mill atm.

Out at just under 308..although I can't see the trade on Advfn ...did a limit this time EI ..tad busy with the day job :)
