jaknife: Aren't all sensible people shorting this? A business that perpetually produces losses, puts out vacuous RNS reaches to try and encourage froth in the share price and has recently announced that it's low on funds and cannot attract finance. How bigger a sign do you need to know that this is a massive obvious short?

timbo003: phoenix None of my comments have concerned "slagging and downing of Versarien", I have commented on one or two of their idiotic supporters and I have drawn attention to Versarien's relative overvaluation, but by no stretch of the imagination could that be described as "slagging and downing" Given that there are far more adverse comments concerning Haydale and other graphene companies on the Versarien board than anywhere else, I am sure that you will understand that in order to redresss the balance, I am likely to make further comments on the VRS bulletin board. As far as you commenting on Haydale over here, go ahead, I certainly agree with you regarding the share price performance over the last two years. It has been abysmal, whilst during the same period Versarien's has been stellar. However, as far as the share prices are concerned, I am far more interested in the future than the past, aren't you?

enter: I just watched that video with Ray Gibbs. It all sounds very good but it's all very suspicious too. We know that Haydale need money and suddenly along come all these announcements about agreements. Tellingly there are no financial details for any of them. In fact when Andrew Scott asks Ray the value of the 100kg of graphene ink they have sold he will not say. I can understand that he didn't want to give an exact price but he could have said hundreds of thousands or tens of thousands or something. I also notice that the new factory that they were talking about in Thailand a while back is no longer mentioned. This says to me that they are not anticipating the need to produce large volumes of graphene ink any time soon. To be honest I think at this stage we are seeing a big ramping exercise. They were watching the share price falling to nothing and they knew they had to do something. I am surprised the market bought in to it in such a big way. It remains to be seen how much of a discount they will have to offer on the placing. The last time there was a placing in October 2017 the shares were 180p and the new shares were offered at 120p.

seastork: There is plenty of life in this dog yet and at these prices you may think a bargain could be had. However, there are high levels of cash burn within the company and recent announcements are not going to fill the coffers. Shares in Issue are a very reserved 27.33 million and sense a re-float with generation of new shares diluting any current holdings. Would imagine for Instuitional holders they will receive a sweetner of extra shares for their current holdings. Short term aim is get the share price as high as possible. So the number crunchers can earn their crust, keeping new shares issued to a minimum at a guide price set at the maximum. Until this happens I will keep my powder dry.

aussi: The Ray Gibbs sale has certainly spooked the market in these shares. Haydale obviously need substantial orders for the share price to recover before the obligatory fund raising that will be needed otherwise.

mali01: CEO selling a lot of his shares at all times low share price is almost unheard of. This is equivavelent of pulling the plug on HAYD. Pffffffft...

grabster: Regardless of Versarien (who after all are not the cause of Haydale's difficulties are they?), what do you see that will reverse Haydale's share price decline and trigger a sustained revival?

grabster: timbo - Your Martin Kemp video is 4 years old. He has clearly learned a lot since then. Got anything more recent? And what is your own explanation of why the HAYD share price is still falling after sliding for 9 months?
