Generic response to Trumps trade war with the Chinese ending; if your sourcing most of your materials over there, could be relevant. But M&S and Topshop in turmoil, could be Primark have stepped in to fill the gaps on the high street. May be a line of Vape store goods has been designed , there springing up everywhere, or HB found one of the many swords left lying around for him to fall on - again. Was it a sword his protogene fell on at BP, or did others fall on his little sword?

Maybe mesquida just thinks there's a good risk/reward ratio here, neverforget. It seems to me that the company will either be bust in 6 months or its shares will be at multiples of the current price in 2-3 years. Some might think that's not a bad bet.

As a share holder not a lot of shares in this company I might add , living in Spain for last 10 years reading these posts every now and again I have a friend whom still works for this company , his words to me is moral of shopfloor workers is at an all time low , one thing that bothers me why did this company drop the mcintosh name ,it was bigger than the havelock name and a respected company

Mesquida do you know what is happening at the company? Look at it in investment terms. Massive pension deficits increased debt and lower sales. Really? Trying to understand why you think there is value. But failing please rationally post you reasons for buying. I might buy more if they are compelling

Trader 'bot or algorithm - buy enough shares, push the market price, no note of interest etc on the HE website, but may be to soon. Updated after the delayed annual results......?

Steak1 you need to read up on your rights and chill or your going to end up in an early grave.The shareholders have little rights and virtually zero power unless they group up and act as one.In the meantime the Directors are very clearly incentivised to rinse the company for all its worth and if I may say so. They are doing an exceptional job of that.

The delaying of the results is an absolute disgrace. The banks will probably have been given financial information and projections prior to renewal of the facilities, but the owners of the company will be given this information when the Directors are good and ready. Its as though the shareholders are an inconvenience.

One of havelocks suppliers confirmed today that they have not had a credit account for over 6 months. In these situations prompt financial information is imperative for investors.

If Investors buy shares from now on and they subsequently suffer a loss. The directors should be personally liable for withholding key information. I note this is a proposal from the government following the Carillon Collapse.

I consider the Directors behaviour to be appaling and if this company goes belly up they should be aware that they might not be able to hide behind limited liability.

For many years Havelock have been moving senior managers around, reinventing new positions with all sorts of titles. Even after clients had expressed concerns over there abilities. You just need to look at the list of clients lost. That tells the true story. The sad fact is after being warned about the need to reduce costs. They have failed to remove them. I'm not talking redundancies. This is a gross misconduct of there responsibilities and duties.
