28/2/2018 22:48 | Truthful Tommy 2 seems about as truthful as Walter Mitty | david davoo
28/2/2018 11:22 | cant see this headed anywhere. never any kind of info about project wins. the new board seem lazy and quite frankly I think they are there to collect their monthly pay. | neverforget
26/2/2018 09:52 | what I cant get is why the chairman allowed this to happen at the first place? he joined over a year ago and then oversaw the year end accounts statement, then a trading statement and then woke up from his sleep and realised all was not rosy in the garden and issued a priofit warning. then obviously blamed the ceo because it was his fault and had to launch this desperate rescue loan. bloody awful if you ask me. | neverforget
26/2/2018 08:44 | Chairmen and ceo's often operate as mutual protection -max out the combined salary for both for as long as possible. Thus the FD is always the fall guy when things go wrong. | meijiman
26/2/2018 08:23 | One of the things I learnt a long time ago was that even if you hold a large stake in a company like gg here, unless the board is behind you or other shareholders are prepared to act with you then you have no real power to do anything to change day to day ops. Chairman are often the worst culprits. They learn the right words to say but often lack the integrity (or balls) to do what they should do... like sack a CEO who basically appointed them. I could write a best seller but I would be sued, but just for the record I don't know the HVE Board at all. | goliard
26/2/2018 08:00 | Thanks GG. Got it! | clocktower
26/2/2018 07:57 | I've heard at least one of the 4 will be leaving very soon! | cookpeter1958
24/2/2018 14:21 | Trim those 4 out and £500,000 a year straight to bottom line and promote the ones below them.....they would rise to it and have a far leaner team ! | tocsin
24/2/2018 09:50 | CT in response. Not nearly enough support to oppose. 😉

23/2/2018 16:20 | Sorry to have been quiet for a while, away enjoying returns on better ventures. Can confirm not ex employee, i think that fall's under the 'cruel and intolerable treatment' part of the Human Rights Act. Plenty of ex's though clogging the bars in KDY though, with stories to be had for beer! Shame i am not in the corperate intellegence game - at least there's monies in that. Anyway, please to meet you, hope you guess my name, but whats troubling you,is the nature of my GAME!!! | cvileservant
23/2/2018 16:13 | Looked a the Pooldek system - cracking idea poorly executed. Made of galvanised and not stainless steel, or even plastic - how many install cycles before the metal corrodes in the pool, and clients have tea brown pools and tiles? Does the install need a commercial licensed diver & safety boat due to working in water > 6 ft, like most pools, and a RAM's to the HSE for every installation. If its hired out, does HVE have to have dive teams on standby to install , and how many if they install more than one at any time. If hired, how manny hires before its more economic to build the additional space. If bought, looks like it'l need a wash down and big storage requirement. Fantastic idea till you think it through! | cvileservant

23/2/2018 11:16 | Can't see CEO buying shares. Non before him have done so. He will just sit and wait for his options to kick in. | neverforget
22/2/2018 15:56 | Someone trying to control I assume gg. Good Luck stick it to them.

And just for WH Ireland, I will post what I want, when I want from now on"
How much control would the Chairman be able to muster at an EGM? | clocktower
22/2/2018 15:48 | Now why didn't I think of that? 😉 | greengiant
22/2/2018 15:36 | gg why not just call an egm? | neverforget
