Surprised that with so little volume in this stock that there are so many negative posts, as one might have thought you all would have sold and be long gone. Must put it back on my watch list as I notice Andrew has built a 20% holding over time at considerably higher levels than the current share price Might even buy a few soon.

What a waste what a shame this company is going bust. maybe should concentrate on its customers rather than hosting scottish shopfitting association get togethers. Priorities have been wrong for 10 years and still wrong.

It’s a shame the company could not attract senior manegement from within the industry when they had the opportunity, but who would come and join Havelock now!!!!!

I think Charlotte Street Partners have downgraded their advert from 'Disaster Management and Response', realising that that was an omission in its own right, so things must have improved!

When your spending money you haven't got on a specialist PR company on Crisis communication. Says everything about Havelock Europa. What information is really being with held.

It was part of Prescott's watch to sell the family silver, possibly keeping the firm solvent during his term. Nothing in the local press about the redundancies, but when your PR firm is Charlotte Street Partners specialising in 'Crisis Communication and response' with an ex SNP finance minister on their board, no wonder. Would not be suprised if a subbie to both Carillion and Interserve through the healthcare and school FM exposure. No faith in new 'flyboy', predictable and generic statement about anticipated growth same day as most high street clients posted downturns in footfall. Talked to a HVE subbie some years ago who had threatened a winding up notice to get payment as they were practicing 'cash conservation.' They'll be fine though - still have KPMG as auditors.

What has Carillion and Havelock got in common. Both companies reward failure. High wages and bonuses with over the top perks being paid. While the company struggle to pay its way. Couldn't make this up.

Rumor has it that payment plans being negotiated with suppliers for monies owed. Staff talking about giving up on fit out work and concentrating on manufacturing only. Bets being placed on when the doors will get shut.

I thought Patterson might do something or Burgess seeing that he is now finished with his last venture. But they can't be bothered. The only yacht you will be buying is a dinky toy. It would seem that these directors are as bad as the last set. They are desperate to raise funds but at what value? I get the feeling g Burgess will call a general meeting with the view of putting his own people in.

I am a (very) long term middle sized shareholder that has kept the faith for years. I am now starting to lose hope. Maybe a takeover by someone with modern business skills and a serious profit motive ? There is a skilled and experienced workforce, lots of good equipment and design software, adequate premises plus a good contact address book from the "good old days". Middle management is sound. It appears that senior management/directorship is simply incompetent. Crying out for a youthful and energetic Dyson or Branson to put some life back in the ailing patient. Otherwise I fear oblivion beckons quite soon, (and I will need to cancel the order for my new yacht to cover crystalisation of my loss on this dying investment!)
