06/12/2017 15:41 | neverforget Barry Perkins was hired by Ritchie came in to look after the corporate work, he originally worked for ISG on the Lloyds account. The only good appointment Ritchie made, this guy definitely knew his job. Removed by the present CEO. | truthful tommy2

06/12/2017 11:42 | The rot started with Lowery carried on with Prescott then Ritchie and now Ormrod. They change the web site, change the sales staff, change the philosophy, ( more customer friendly ) ( more customers expand clients ) ( maximize profit ). The one thing they have never changed is the company structure. The structure in place is out of date its more suited for a Government type department. Not a small shopfitting company with a 60 million turnover. neverforget Ormrod does not want new clients his focus is existing clients and maximizing profit. Thats why Perkins went. Get rid of the departmental directors restructure and replace with experienced people and Havelock will survive. If not they will disappear. | truthful tommy2

05/12/2017 19:55 | Think of all tje people he has got rid of. It was obvious that Findlay, Davis, Prescott, McClellan were not good enough so he got rid. He doesn't appear to be one to mess about | neverforget
05/12/2017 18:14 | There are some serious sychophants out there, since when was Burgess Knighted? Everybody is criticizing members of the current Board, Mr Burgess has been a majority shareholder and Board member for a number of years now, he is one of those responsible for the current state of the business. | goodoldays

30/11/2017 14:45 | I don't know the Havelock staff --but I know the Godden/Ormrod cosy relationship --having been closely watching the pair during their days at Farnborough from within the aviation industry. Godden must be desperate to have brought in his fair weather friend with no relevant skills . Talk to the Farnborough or ADS staff there for an informed opinion of their combined "skills".At this rate of incompetence Ormrod will not last 12 months. There is not an ounce of commercialism in them -including the CEO of ADS (The voice piece of the Aviation, defence and security industries with whom Ormrod worked closely before his sudden departure from Farnborough International). You watch-the danger is that He will try to manufacture a short term blip in profits like the CEO who starves the business of investment to achieve a better bottom line before being ousted, leaving the business desperately in need of proper investment. It seemsit will also be with good people having been terminated. As ever,it's all about the timing! | coolspool 29
30/11/2017 11:41 | I see the recent press release regarding the completion of a new House of Fraser by Barlows Shopfitting!! They also did the complete refit of House of Fraser Victoria. House of Fraser used to be one of the top 2 clients of Havelock and very profitable. Is Havelock totally incapable of keeping customers, how can Havelock allow a company like Barlow's to win this work. I really think all hope is lost in respect of Havelock making a recovery. It's a case of the blind leading the blind along with incompetence and arrogance!!! | goodoldays |
