30/12/2016 09:11 | And if the price had shot up to 12p then one could look at it from a different angle...that is the nominal value of shares 10p....so easy to create new shares out of thin air on desperation!....what is his fee for being a Chairman!...is he paying stamp duty or dealing fees?...any free share options coming his way?...and what is the golden good bye worth?...anybody seen his contract?... | diku
30/12/2016 06:44 | Is it special ? He's paying above the market price. | mikepompeyfan
30/12/2016 03:34 | It shows his commitment and confidence in the company. It is the most positive sign for a long time. | goodoldays
29/12/2016 17:24 | Why the special treatment to the Chairman with new shares?... | diku
29/12/2016 08:13 | seems like the bitter squad is back. lol | neverforget
24/12/2016 04:05 | I retract my last statement on my previous post. Ian Gooden is an ideal Chairman, could not have chosen anyone better. I wish him all the best in his new role and hope he receives all the support he deserves. | goodoldays
24/12/2016 03:22 | How can Havelock get any credibility back in the market place now?? Let's hope the new Chairman knows the industry and the client base. I very much doubt it. | goodoldays
23/12/2016 16:50 | The fact that Havelock has a new Chairman, and who is taking a stake, is good news for the Business. David MacLellans direction was a road map to decreasing revenues, losses and debt......lets hope the new man can make a difference. Success will depend on his team. He doesn't exactly have Ronaldo & Messi to draw upon....instead only pub team support. Let's hope beyond the transitional period we see new appointments and people who are capable of getting the business back on track. | cannyman1
23/12/2016 11:36 | Lets hope so but they need to get rid of that incompetent Gillian Jenkins who has single handed lost so many clients blames everybody else. Along with John Gillespie whose department cant meet any targets and covers for his incompetent son, Robert Wallace, John McCaughie whose contribution to the company is zero. Merry Christmas | truthful tommy2
23/12/2016 11:05 | Lets hope the new Chairman can sort out our sales department what with David Farooqui seemingly on a performance improvement plan and Andrew Kilkenny unable to recruit anyone with any experience in this industry, the new year looks a bit bleak. All we hear about is losing business to former sales people. | savvysurveyor
21/12/2016 10:31 | Now price has widened out on the offer side. Is it possible that we are going to see a delayed report of a decent sized purchase later today. | mesquida
20/12/2016 13:04 | There are obviously buyers around, but equally somebody is feeding it. Today's RNS was featured in W.H.Ireland's morning comments, together with reiteration of 16p price target. Suspect that it will creep higher over the next few days, but more importantly I now feel much more confident about my position here on a longer term view. | mesquida
20/12/2016 08:38 | just made another top up as demand seemed to be tightening on the online quotes i was encouraged by the last trading update and so presumably was the incoming chairman GLA | gleach23
20/12/2016 08:00 | I'm not sure that buying from existing shareholders would be the first option, as the company doesn't benefit from that. This way, the company has another GBP 300k to play with. | gargoyle2
20/12/2016 07:59 | thanks neverforget...believ please keep us up to speed with visitors book :) | gleach23
20/12/2016 07:45 | Neverforget, presumably you know quite a bit about this guy? Do you think that he can waken the sleeping giant ?! | mesquida
20/12/2016 07:42 | I would imagine buying from existing shareholders would be the first course of action, otherwise why bother going through the pulava of a share issue. good news all around. | neverforget
20/12/2016 07:36 | And presumably the Company has sounded out other major shareholders ( as to whether they want to sell any of their stock ) before agreeing to issue new shares, so therefore we can assume that nobody wants to sell down at this level. 12p by close of business today ? | mesquida
20/12/2016 07:27 | the fact he wants a significant shareholding shows far more commitment than the pervios chairman. infact he will be the companies 3rd biggest shareholder. obviously has faith. | neverforget

20/12/2016 07:16 | Paying 10p for new shares shows commitment. | mikepompeyfan
20/12/2016 07:14 | Well done, neverforget, I was beginning to have my doubts but you clearly had recognised the signs ! | mesquida
20/12/2016 07:13 | good topup gleach. :-) there we go the newsflash. recognise the name? the guys record is impressive. finally direction for the board. well done to all. this should have happened 3 years ago. finally we will have some strategic direction and not the dross that Prescott kept talking about. | neverforget
19/12/2016 15:56 | Starting to lose patience with the Board here. | gargoyle2
19/12/2016 15:24 | Maybe it was the receiver who signed in the visitors book. lol | reallyrich |
