07/2/2005 22:21 | It's quite illiquid as it is, if directors scooped up more it would just worsen. Many pages back CR almost a year ago IIRC, said that it is easy to pick up 5k of the shares when they're not moving, but if they start to move you're stuck. I am looking forward to the results with optimism. | daunker
07/2/2005 20:00 | Looks good to me too - can't expect director to buy infinitely imo. CR | cockneyrebel
07/2/2005 19:51 | 8 Directors hold shares in the company, the top 4 are: Gay Haines (2,455,000) = £1,374,800 Stephen Raven (600,000) = £336,000 Michael L Marks (428,395) = £239,901 Hannah Brown (266,000) = £148,960 4 other directors hold a total of 252,500 worth £141,400 That looks like pretty darn good director support to me, they've bought up 40% of the company, what more do you want? If your reason for not investing is because the director's only own 40% of the issued shares then I'm afraid I don't see your logic! laf ;o) | lafiamma
07/2/2005 17:30 | If the FD and CEO had shown more interest then so would I Old holdings are irrelevant Th climate for this segment of the economy is not what it was a year ago There are better places to go i.e Natural Resources and Mobile Content Providers | zipstuck
07/2/2005 11:45 | zipstuck - I take it you haven't bothered looking at how many shares the Directors already own then? laf ;o) | lafiamma
07/2/2005 11:43 | not helped by sentiment on Whitehead Mann - See Sunday Times - Also Direstors have not exactly been prolic in their buying. if the results were that good they would have taken the opportunity IMO | zipstuck
27/1/2005 23:03 | Yet another exciting day...... zzzzzzzzzzz | daunker
22/1/2005 14:05 | driving me nuts actually, but suspect it may respond when the punters read the results. CR | cockneyrebel
22/1/2005 13:49 | Out at the moment, might get back in later. This stock hasnt moved much since February of 2004. | amitkoth
18/1/2005 22:34 | Disappointing trading statement IT orientated recruiters have better growth and turnaround prospects Take a look at HVN, MSB etc | arthur daley
18/1/2005 10:25 | Hello :-) CR | cockneyrebel
18/1/2005 10:21 | Hello Mr. CR. Forgot you on this thread too. | johncsimpson
18/1/2005 10:09 | the rise last week was probably speculating traders moving it up that sold on the news this morning imo. Most recruiters trading on a much higher forward PE than this and HTP don't have all the goodwill to write down like many. CR | cockneyrebel
18/1/2005 09:38 | they always take an hour or two to show due to the low NMS | lafiamma
18/1/2005 09:35 | Bought at 8.34. Not showing on Com Direct though. | johncsimpson
18/1/2005 08:30 | Don't understand the share price at all. Marked up before trading and now down. Think I'll go another 5000. | johncsimpson
18/1/2005 07:45 | As we allthought the long awaited Trading update has been delivered.. On 11 x prospective earnings these should fly now. GD | gd150772
18/1/2005 07:36 | Bob Mortons stable beginning to recover - look at PLN, indications are that this will be firing on all cylinders | zipstuck
18/1/2005 07:29 | China looking good | zipstuck
18/1/2005 07:23 | Ahead of expectations (pre a one off) but the price well below what it was a year ago - a total injustice imo. Shareprice off 10% in a year, profits up 35%. Well undervalued imo CR | cockneyrebel
17/1/2005 14:01 | Still around 10% off it's price from a year ago yet profits will be up 50%+. Most other recruiter share prices doing well even if the company isn't performing that well - but look how well these are performing! CR | cockneyrebel
17/1/2005 13:58 | Yep - still here, I bought these after having my attention drawn to them when I saw the excellent statement last year. Unfortunately, before the T/S I had never heard of them, otherwise I would have got an entry price much lower! Still, my average price is still somewhere between 50-55p so can't complain... laf ;o) | lafiamma
17/1/2005 13:53 | I was thinking along the same lines CR. I reckon after HTP's cracking H1, a positive Trading update is odds on favourite. Here's hoping GD | gd150772
17/1/2005 13:50 | All here still? I remember HTP putting out a trading statement on a Friday afternoon at 4.20pm once - boy did these fly in those 10 mins and again on the Monday. Must be due a statement soon imo. If they get tipped again in IC or Shares I reckon that's a clue that they know a trading statement is imminent imo. Keep your eyes open - had one this time last year. CR | cockneyrebel
14/1/2005 10:29 | Been moving up today - HTP put out a trading statement around this time last year - one on Monday perhaps? CR | cockneyrebel |
