Recruiter Hays (HAS) impressed with a record quarterly net fee performance in the three months to the end of March, and anticipated full year profits to hit the top range of market expectations.

Added back shares sold around 75p.

Well DBAY have bought these aggressively since the Trading Update of 3rd Mar - 2 RNSs have indicated they have gone from a NIL holding to 17% with the most recent related to an increase of 4.5m shares bought @ 72p on 24th Mar. I would imagine they might be interested in buying more sub-70p.

Regardless, I have just topped up with a few more. Perhaps the price is being worked down for DBAY?

Yes!

I could write an essay on this chart pattern we are seeing here. In almopst all cases this is a gretaplace to top up or buy in BUT for many it's an area which they sell into to.

agree NTV - I like to top up in these periods of drift - did so earlier and will do so again if it drops - I'll feel lucky if I get any in the 63/64 area ;)

Yes, DBAY are snapping up a big holding. It's going to put them in play, I think. Was thinking of selling out, but I think its better keeping on board for now.

had a limit in for some at 76p. they were snapped up. DBAY appear to be building a sizeable stake

NTV Creston was at 70p when they made their bid at £1.25 + a 1.4 divi pr share. Different companies though - and like i said, it will never happen anyway.

i think 80p take out price as there are are of long term holders that would glad to cash in
so going for 10% premium on the last large trade at 72p
just got to be patient and enjoy the large dividend

NTV - so assuming that they are intending to build a stake and then make a bid (which will never happen in my opinion) you are suggesting that the top price they would pay is 80p..4p more than current price?

If it was the case, they'd have to build a stake first? They were invested in Creston for 2 years before making a bid. They only appeared on the scene here this month with an 11% stake that has potentially increased to 16%?

Looking that way if they are the buyers
won't be much of a premium though so guessing around 80p max

Get ready for a bid probably from DBAY.
Just like CRESTON bid.

Yes, this is running up fast now. Looking at the chart the 50 day moving average line has now made a definitive cross-over the 200 day moving average line. Stockopedia score is high. Large final dividend coming up. I bought this at 59.4p but will probably sell ahead of the final dividend, price permitting. Not a long-term investment for me as I don't like the sector much, but no real downside until the outlook statement / the shares go xd. Bought because they were cheap, had a high QVM score and fat dividend yield which was unlikely to be cut short-term.

Nice move today...having been preparing itself for a couple of weeks for this, hopefully the share price will move on through the 70s in fairly short order...

For myself, I am a tad overweight in these at the moment. I have held these since 2017 at varying levels, so naturally I have been a fairly happy holder in the main.

Oops, 2007, not 2017!
