Another strange thing:

From the Corporate update RNS 31st March 2020:

'Orders up 150% to the end of February 2020 compared to the same period last year'

So, 'last year' from data provided by Triunfo/HMI (see link below):
Jan 2019 - 182t
Feb 2019 - 205t
Total = 387t
Then 387t + 150% = 967.5t

Yet from todays RNS Corporate Presentation it gives 1,464t

Even stranger, 150% of 967.5t is ~1464t

You know what I'm thinking?

I will!

Strange how HMI shareholders have quickly forgotten the construction timeline of the new 20kt shed and the operational impact it had on processing dust?

Fertiliser prices have been booming this year too with very high price increases over the last 4 months. Harvest products are going to be very competitive even not counting currency changes.

From the 01/01/18 to current date the Real has dropped from .3 to .2 to the dollar, 33% drop in $ terms. So at 2018 exchange the price per tonne would have been approx $52 per tonne. Dependent on inflation the Opex costs ‘should’ generally have reduced in line with the FX changes. However, all Brazil external costs are either $ or $AUD based. It will be interesting to see the working capital position at the end of June to see what impact this cratering of the Real has on the financials. Overall things going in the right direction IMO, but interesting times and a good risk / reward bet at these prices IMO.

After a bit more research I found reference to pricing in this recent RNS

It states that 7000Kg costs R$1470 so R$210 per tonne which is equivalent to $39 per tonne at the current exchange rate

At what price is the product currently being sold at?
I think the company was expecting to achieve $60 per tonne but that was a while ago and I can't seem to find any recent information on the price

I have a look every now and again to see how news is received. Good to see the positivity returning amongst investors. We are entering an exclusive ting period for HMI as our product gains recognition and sales in ever increasing quantities, a wider range of applications and a diversified market.

Positive additional revenue stream. Let's see where HMI is in 12months and also whether the likes of EML are up and running to complete

’ Controle de Plantas Daninhas ‘
the correct translation is: control of any wild plant, especially when growing among cultivated plants or where it is not wanted

So yep, weed killer
