18/3/2004 15:35 | I don't know whether or not it is daydreamer, but when I post elsewhere, then 'he or him' says 'filter this post.' Well on other sites I've said that I've got my ideas from and the contributors to other Free BB sites have got shirty. Hartstone at just over 1p mentioned then happens to be one of the many gainers on this site. How about American Minerals - moving up on the Toronto exchange tonight and quoted on AIM - also featured on the site mentioned above. Do you want to make profits or losses? The choice is yours. 18/3/2004 15:22 | I think that whatever the outcome of the 'approach' the company has done right in announcing the approach first. This way, they benefit from the 'hope'. If it fails then the price would be higher but they gain the publicity. Dont forget this one is UNDERVALUED. So we do not run the risk of a slump. The problem is nobody knows HST. This therefore in my judgement can only be good irrespective of the outcome of the 'approach'. | andonis
18/3/2004 15:06 | If price before takeover bid was 1.7p then reckon you must be looking at 3p minimum or bid would be rejected straight away. Since some of you think this is a company that could recover and be worth lots more (and sure management must think the same) then bid would need to be in the 4p to 5p range minimum. It's obviously tempting or the management would have put out an RNS saying they had rejected outright an bid that didn't match their valuation of the company. Since they haven't they are obviously considering it. So you could well have a 50%- 150% rise when the bid price is announced. Long term holders must have a feel for what the company is worth - else why hold the shares in the first place ?. | smow1
18/3/2004 14:26 | They have give us nothing to go in that statement Anglia. Who knows what actually is happening ! Gravy | day_dreamer
18/3/2004 14:24 | What is the likely take out price shoud the bid materialise? How long is a piece of string I suppose, but a number of you long termers probably have some idea/target in mind. | anglia

18/3/2004 14:13 | You got some gravy? | farsight
18/3/2004 14:12 | This is a genuine 10 bagger if the company can be left to turn it around in time. However a bidder will have to buy out the preference shares for starters and the debt etc etc so to say prices like 5p upwards is ludicrous short term. It's a shame because they must be doing a lot better behind the scenes and somebody wants to get them on the cheap imho. Gravy | day_dreamer
18/3/2004 14:11 | Edited. About four posts appeared before this before I finished typing. | farsight
18/3/2004 14:09 | Poor pill box simply can not understand that such antics damage the share he is trying to promote. I spoke to you before about this on EIC. Don't do it Pill Box. It is not in your interests. | agincourt
18/3/2004 14:09 | Still, credit due for finally getting out of Einstein! | opthalmist |
