A quick lesson in HRD speak.

For 'imminent' read 'to the wire'

One more thing Brunning said by the way. He said he welcomed calls from small shareholders and thought it was a healthy thing. He also commented that the report would make 'very interesting reading'. Not sure he would have said any of this if they were about to shaft the lot of us.
He didnt say anything which gave 'inside information' but at the current share price confirmation that they are solvent was encouraging.

He said there is 'a lot in the report' some good , some not so good. Frankly I was relieved he didn't say the company was going bust !
He said that overall they had made progress.

Just spoke to Nigel Brunning. He says the results will be announced imminently. No surprise there as the deadline is next monday !. He said the chairman Andrew Manders was adding a few comments then they would be published. He said he was surprised they hadn't been ready for issue sooner.

Thanks, bosco. A very good couple of weeks. Back to the Welsh Marches, so not far North, but some power lines down. Must be a lot worse further up.

I'll look at the screen with interest Tuesday am.

A howling gale outside, fitting prelude to the next few days, at some point during which 'All Will Be Revealed'.

I've no suggestion to make as to what Arev will do, so how's about odds on when the results will be out? Suggest:-

6/4 Monday, 30 June.
3/1 After close, Friday next.
5/1 Any other day this week.

If anyone would care to speculate on Arev's options, that might be fun?

Morning folks, the buys aren't huge but are a good sign i suppose. When I spoke to Brunning recently he said that the full year numbers for last year were delayed because there is 'a great deal going on with the business at the moment'. thats positive too.
Having said that this is a pretty difficult time for quality clothes retailers. At the moment the share price reckons the business is going 'belly up' so lets hope for a few gains.

"and opening more stores means the business model must be working."

That was my thinking too pictureframe.

I have to go away from the screen for a few hours now, however, good luck to you "picture" and "Bos" +the others on this board.

I certainly think we will see a large move in the next 2 weeks, depending on what day they release information, and what the market is doing that day.

lets hope they time it for a positive trading day.

Take care.

Boraki

Well they seem to think they will be around in the present guise and opening more stores means the business model must be working.

I still think they are profitable or almost !
