But the last little rise was done with small volume. Nothing behind it really.

True to form, our seller offloaded 500k at 14.46. Unfortunately, I fear there may be many more still to come from the same source.

Roger, might I respectfully suggest that you use the 'filter' option for this one. I've rarely used it but quite useful in this instance.

Thanks. Suppose its the opportunity cost of holding for little return. Buy now for the Airbus related upside.......

AS far as I can see, that this company has mainly bluechip clients,it takes time to test and get approval. We seem to be going in the right direction, gaining new customers, and entering new markets, which will make this company more diversified.

MeijimanI haven't properly read you post for I lost interest. One word really - Airbus. You have to be in it to win it as they say.RegardsRRJ

In fact having a quick look it appears that since 2009 the share price has done nothing except trade around 1-2p -with the odd tiny spike as it is puffed up before a placing. The number of shares in issue has gone from 318m to 1.07bn so more or less a threefold diminution of value for shareholders.
I've rather forgotten why the initial timeframe for commercialization never happened. Wonder if the board can spin this along for another ten years.
Let me me remind myself who are the main institutional backers here -oh whats the point...

wouldn't it be great for this to be bid for. Put an end to the lifestyle of the Board which seems, hitherto, to be the only purpose behind this company. Strategy is to spend money from shareholders -puff up the share price on tantalising news of possible developments -spend that money -repeat the process.
Carry on this caper for 10 years and there is a nice little earner.
After years and years the share price is 1.5p and the number of shares in issue is er so high Ive forgotten.
Shareholders serve as the milch cow?

'Where is that seller? Gone?????'

I think we should expect a large sale to be recorded before the end of the afternoon, I can't get a dummy sale quote online for anything above 50k.

An Airbus industries process specification for a CVD deposited tungsten carbide coating. Does anyone have understanding of what this means in a practical sense? I can speculate this means that after extensive testing, Airbus have accepted the CVD deposited tungsten carbide and have written their own specification for suppliers which presumably Hardide meet and hopefully no one else. If I was manufacturing a part for Airbus does this mean I have to follow the AIPS and use Hardide as chrome is removed as an approved coating?

Combined with NADCAP approval by the end of the year and appointment of Stewart Gibson looks positive. However I have no idea how big the prize is with Airbus and likely timing. In that sense I view Airbus as an option with the real value created by GE and other well recognised companies with much straightforward procurement processes.

Yes, a promising announcement despite the overtones re the possible adverse effects that the depressed oil price may have for later this year.

I'm sure HDD's resident 'knocker' might have a slightly different interpretation of this morning's results:

[chrisgail 29 Apr'15 - 09:18 - 2287 of 2326 0 0

Another 2 - 3 years without any profit, 0.5p per share on the way.]
