I imagine at least a bit of the SVG money will flow into this. After all, it will soon be the only PE fund of funds in the ftse 250, and the most liquid vehicle. ELTA, which is directs, has an uncertain future, and the much larger 3i is on a big premium and is much less diversified. Should help the discount come in a bit more imho.

I'm a bit happier now I've looked at their top 25 investments. I guess the recent rise reflects movement of the exchange rate: we are at almost a %20 discount to stated asset value. I'll hold on.

I tried to look for an annual report on the Harbourvest web site, but find that you have to log in to the investor portal. Does anyone know how I get to log in? Or are the annual reports available elsewhere on the web site?

Share price been awakened a tad by bid for SVI (by a Harbourvest secondary fund) yesterday. But still plenty of potential discount closing to aim for.

At 14:42 today 1.5m traded through at 920p. Could that be the end of the overhang which may have been holding us back...

please have a look at 44 page for some of co they got in early includes UBER, Wayfair, and 45 for snapchat in 2016 annual report. 52 and 55 good read too.
plus most co in US .hoping for more updates soon. I hold HVPE .
And they got more meeeting planned for city next month. when we went to last meeting was full of all big fund managers with one of manager they invested in . I forgot name.

I've been looking through the PE sector looking for somewhere to put some of the 20% CASH which has built up in my portfolio.

I've recently added to my MTH; wonder whether to do so with a small holding in MVI; and added a few more LMS prior to accepting the Tender for 100% of my holding (Tender open from 17th - 31st August; but better to do so now in case you forget!).

I've also alighted upon Harbourvest (HVPE) after their July NAV declaration of 1312p versus an offer price of 924p, ie they are offered at a 29.6% discount - this for a PE Trust which more usually trades at a c22% discount. Such a discount would imply an share price of 1023p - c11% higher than today's price.

The shares have traded sideways recently; and look to me ripe to break out higher. They are currently 921.5p-924.0p - a nice close spread.

Sterling fall means this now on approx 30% discount, which i think is a bit too much for such a reliable, steady performer.
