Who the heck is shorting Harbour Energy in this market - boggles the mind... Per Euroclear Borrowed Shares for Harbour almost up to 10% of outstanding shares.

Borrowed shares almost always correlates to short interest!!!

Someone shorting HBR would probably be long on some other oil major, so using it as a hedge against losses on longs, for example say the Russians announced a ceasefire.

It's the significant amount of ATs impeding on any sustainable upward momentum but I'm sure any clarification statement from HBR with regards to the windfall tax will be sufficient to address any continuing short-term volatility.
